Julie's place was excellent for my short visit to SF. Julie was a fine host. She gave me a map and a rundown of the city/things to do and was even generous enough to let me borrow her guitar. I didn't see her much after the first night but the only time I really spent in the apartment was to sleep. The place is clean and quiet and good for sleeping. Her apartment was very convenient for catching the bus or streetcar downtown. The 16th St. BART station makes her place very easy to get to and from the airport. The mission itself is a cool neighborhood, maybe slightly more sparse than I anticipated but it had really great food and what seemed like cool bars from the outside. Wish I could have stayed a little longer.
Thanks for a great stay, Julie!
I had a perfect stay with Julie! I was in town to look for an apartment and she was right in the middle of where I knew I wanted to be. I was able to walk everywhere and get BART and Muni with ease. The apartment was great; quiet sunny mornings started productive days and Coco was the best co-hostess! Julie was very friendly and full of resources for a newcomer like me and I've added a new friend in my new home town!
I had a great time staying with Julie! The apartment is really lovely, and the room very pretty and clean. I LOVED hanging out with Cocoa and also enjoyed the sunshine on her completely gorgeous patio. The area is great too. You're just so close to everywhere good you'd like to go. And 2 minutes from Whole Foods. I had a wonderful few days and would really recommend it,
I enjoyed my stay at Julie's house. It is in a convenient location for all the things I wanted to do - museums, San Francisco Symphony, movies - and also near a Whole Foods store and so many other restaurants. Julie was very helpful and friendly and I really enjoyed her cat, Coco.
EXCELLENT! My husband, my cat and I stayed in Julie's spare room for about a week while we were looking for permanent housing in the area. It was the perfect landing spot for wandering around the city's various neighborhoods to find our place to call home. Julie made us feel right at home, not some strangers in a new land. We thought we were going to have to board our cat at a kennel for a week after our 7-hour plan trip, but upon seeing our cute cat, Julie insisted he stay with us, which was SO NICE of her. We really lucked out finding a host who accepted both us and our cat, because having him stay with us made us feel even more at home. Thank you thank you Julie for letting him stay in your home!
Her place is in a great location right off Market Street, but off on a quiet side street so we slept ever so peacefully. Within a block or two we stopped by Whole Foods for groceries and the salad bar for lunch, the pet store to gather some food and toys for my cat, the hardware store to grab some things for our new place, and a Fedex store where I could print off some paperwork. Restaurants in the neighborhood were also in abundance.
The house: we had a set of keys, one that opens the main front door to the building and then one to her apartment. The room is small, but everything we needed, including hooks on the back door to hang some of our clothes/jackets. There's a super cozy couch in the living room and she has cable to watch just about anything on TV if you just want to take a break from exploring. AND ALSO a huge record collection. The door to the backyard/porch is through Julie's room, but take advantage of it -- on a sunny day it's a great place to have your morning coffee & listen to the birds.
Finally, Julie was a great hostess at all times. When we had a free night she invited us to dinner and she grilled up some burgers before we all watched Game of Thrones together -- great evening! We hope to keep in touch.
Julie is great, very helpful and ready to make your stay better every time. His apartment is in one the best places on Mission, near all Muni services that connect you with every part of San Francisco. I was really happy being there all those days.
Julie was a friendly, easy-going and accommodating host. She let me check in earlier, was nice to talk with and helping with questions. Her location is very convenient to public transportation, which made everything easier for me. The room was relatively small and a little bit dusty but the bed was super comfortable and there was plenty of natural light. Her place is cute, with a nice touch of her artful personality. I'm not much of a cat person, but if you are, you'll love her cat too!
My best friend and I had a great time at Julie's. The flat is lovely and the cat adorable. We went for a night at the club Mezzanine where Julie works for a really cool party. There is a perfect spot just down the road for breakfast call Mission beach coffee (I think...) Very good croissants and eggs! ;)
Julie was a great host! She and her cat Coco made me feel very welcome in her charming apartment. The room was accurate to the description and photos, and was tidy and clean. I would definitely stay with Julie again!
Julie herself is really on the ball. She keeps her place nice and clean. Julie's place is a comfortable spot in a good location.
