The bamboo room in Sagrada Familia

Apartment - Private room · Carrer del Rosselló, Barcelona, Catalonia 08025, Spain

The Space

A very cosy room where you can relax and feel at home. The apartment has 4 bedrooms, two of which are available for rent. We have 2 bathrooms which means that you'll share yours with just one other person. You have for your use in the kitchen our microwave, toaster, orange juicer and hotpot, but not the burners on stove (sorry, we had a bad experience!). You have a special place in the fridge and in the cupboard to store your own food.
If you want to do your laundry, the cost is 5€ which includes detergent and softener but needs to be scheduled in advance.
We are very clean and tidy and the apartment is always impeccable. You can use our WiFi connection for free. If you need any information about the city, let us help you. We have many maps and guides and we know the city well.
The neighborhood is very safe and quite. There are many supermarkets, shops, restaurants, a library and a gym within walking distance. In fact, the Sagrada Familia, with its pedestrian street Av. Gaudí, is only a 5 minute walk from our home. Public transportation is minutes from the house…the purple or blue metro lines as well as public and tourist busses.
What makes our home so special is its positive vibe. You'll feel at home, we'll treat you as family and you'll be sure to spend your time in Barcelona in a clean and cosy place that will help restore your energy.

  • Everything was fine with the room!
Claudia was very helpful, the distance from the sightseeings is not so far (sagrada familia is about 5 minutes on foot),the metro station is also near the house.
If you want a trip by yourself in barcelona this house is a very good place to stay, relax and sleep!!

  • I will start with a simple word: ADORABLE!
Claudia is an AMAZING host. From the beginning (even before I booked the room) she answered all my questions which was very re-assuring. Days before my arrival she confirmed she would be able to meet me at the agreed time and even made arrangements to leave work early. The room was more than I could asked for, it was clean, cozy and most importantly, it felt like it was mine.
The place is locate really close to La Sagrada Familia and Sant Pau Hospital which are a most. Also near by you have resturants, bakeries, coffee shops, bars and the metro which is very accessible.
Overall, my experience at Claudia's was amazing and I would go back in a heart beat!! GRACIAS!!!!! :)

  • I was pickpocketed within minutes of arriving into Barcelona and my pleasant hostess, Claudia, was kind enough to lend me 50 Euros till I could arrange emergency funds. Though within walking distance of the iconic Sagrada Familia, this is not the most happening of areas, the flat is not the most well-lit of apartments, and the shower stall a little cramped. But it is good value as a clean and functional place to breakfast, bathe and sleep and I got some important writing done in peace and quiet. A store across the street run by immigrant Bangladeshis provides essentials and next door there is a place to use the internet and print documents.

  • I spent great time in Barcelona staying in Bamboo room near Sagrada Familia in January, 2014. Claudia is very friendly, helpful and nice person, I really enjoyed communicating to her. The room is very nice and cosy, small, but has everything you may need. Location is great, close to Sagrada and to the metro station, with cafes and shops around. Highly recommended :)

  • My stay in Barcelona was very short

  • Let's start off by arriving on the first day, it definitely was a pleasant experience being able to navigate very easily from the airport with very clear and easy directions to follow from the host. Claudia greeted me with a huge smile, a very warm attitude an tips on where to go in the city for the best attractions. The room was just perfect, cozy, clean and warm for this christmas season. Exactly what I needed for my stay. Thank you Claudia and Sheila for having me. I also enjoyed the christmas chat and the great chocolate dessert Claudia made.

  • I loved the location of the apartment and Claudia was very friendly and helpful. The room is nice as is the whole apartment. There was just quite some noice at night and the bathroom is very small. But overall I really liked my stay there.

  • I want to say thank you for the welcome. It was my first experience with airbnb. And for me it was very important to understand that it's cool, inexpensive and convenient. Claudia has helped me to see this. Thank you Claudia. About the apartment. The room is small, but comfortable. A little noise at night interferes with the housemates, but if you close the window, then all is well. The apartment has everything you need. Kitchen, refrigerator in the kitchen, shower, space for coats.

  • Claudia was a really sweet host! I wasn't around very much, but her room was quaint and comfortable. It was close to two metro stations. The price is unbeatable for the location. I used Claudia's blog to find an awesome brunch place in Gracia to boot!I would definitely stay with her again.

About
¡Esperamos poderte conocer pronto! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I was born on an island and I wanted to see what was outside. We have been leaving together for two and a half year now and between us has has grown a beautiful relationship like sisters. Her name is Sheila, she is physiotherapist and she gives professional massages at home. If you would like to enjoy a good and convenient massage during your stay, just ask us! She is a very positive person and full of energy. I'm sure you'll think the same as soon as you going to meet her.
