My apartment is located on the west side of Manhattan in the center of the city. It's just a block from the theater district. MOMA, Lincoln Center, Central Park and Times Square are all within walking distance. The apartment is a fifth floor walk-up and is fully renovated.
My apartment has a small bedroom, bathroom, fully equipped kitchen and living room. There is a laundry in the basement of the building.
There are many affordable restaurants, and grocery stores nearby as well as two organic markets. There are also many good take-out shops and bakeries.
The Hudson River walk is a few blocks west of my apartment with bike and pedestrian paths. The High Line elevated walking path is also nearby in the neighborhood.
There are two subway lines in close proximity; the C and E which also connects to the JFK AirTrain and the 1 line at Broadway.
My place is in the center of Manhattan but is on a tree-lined side street. It is quiet and peaceful for work and sleep.

The apartment is so nice and Kate was very helpful. We enjoy a lot our experience in NYC.
Nice apartment and wonderful host, located very central, next to Time's Square and Broadway.
Kate was on a trip when I stayed at her place for five weeks in the summer. Her assistant Omar was staying in the living room during those weeks and I was in the bedroom. Although the bedroom is a bit small I had a good stay, thanks to the great help and assistance from Omar. He knew the city well and helped me out on lots of questions I had prior to and during my stay. Also I basically only was inside the apartment for sleeping because I was working and exploring the city all the time. The extra air conditioning in the bedroom made those hot nights in July much more pleasant.
The location of the apartment is great. Close to the midtown circus, but just outside of it to get some peace. Hell's Kitchen is filled with nice restaurants and bars and you are close to everything. Great place to explore the city without a lot of city sounds to actually get some peace and rest at night.
Great apartment and great location! Much better than trying to stay at a hotel. The apartment is spacious and very nice. We truly enjoyed our stay. Also, Kate is a great person to speak with about New York. She knows the city well and is willing to help out with suggestions of things to do and places to eat. We highly recommend staying at her place! For future trips to New York, we'll check first to see if her apartment is available.
A delightful apartment in a perfect location, and Kate is a great host.
