  • we spent a month at this apartment and it was fabulous! so convenient. classy and welcoming. Jeanne was a wonderful host and took an immediate care for everything we needed. we felt like home and that's the most important thing. the location in shadyside is terrific, there's a bus right out side to PITT, CMU and UPMC. more buses close by. we would definitely recommend this apartment for long stays.

  • Our stay in Miss Debra's appartment was unforgettable. We found a clean and and elegant appartment, very confortable for three people and with a perfect location.
The host and her daughter was very kind with us and present in every time for any questions.

  • My husband and I stayed at this place for our wedding. The apartment is beautiful and we really enjoyed staying there. I gave the space such a low rating, though, because after we left we received several inchoate and angry messages from the host demanding that we pay an extra $150 for unclearly specified "cleaning fees" (in addition to the $60 cleaning fee that the apartment already charges). We tried politely requesting clarification as to what prompted these fines, but could not get any clear account of the expenses. We were quite surprised by this request (especially since we had cleaned a little ourselves before leaving) so we contacted Airbnb who encouraged us to reject the charges if we thought they were unfair and that they would get in contact with us again if the host had any proof that we left the apartment in such a state to demand such a high fee. We never heard about it again, so clearly the host did not have any such evidence. We caution any potential guests of this host to take pictures of how you left the apartment just in case you too receive this unwelcome surprise upon departure.

  • The apartment was fully equipped just as the previous one I stayed on. I would recommend any apartment managed by Debra.

  • This apartment has a fabulous location for anyone visiting Carnegie Mellon. It is about 1 mile and is a nice walk, particularly on a spring day. The apartment is in an older building; the apartment itself is nicer than the building itself. The apartment is nice and comfortable with 2 bedrooms and 1.5 baths. Having the extra bathroom is nice so that someone can use that bathroom while someone is taking a shower. The bathrooms are OK, but could stand some updating. The living room is comfortable with a big screen TV, the kitchen is cozy, and the bedrooms are nice. Apartment is very clean and comfortable. I was traveling with another couple on a business trip, and this was a much better arrangement than having 2 hotel rooms as we had a chance to spend time together in the evening and morning rather than meeting in hotel spaces. I recommend staying here.

  • This apartment is in a perfect location. I've lived in Pittsburgh before, and this apartment is in Shadyside in the heart of the East end. The apartment was clean and larger than I expected. I highly recommend.

  • We truly enjoyed our stay here. Very convenient location with easy access to CMU, PITT, Giant Eagle (Grocery), and 2 blocks from Walnut Street where you'll find upscale restaurants, shops, and cafes. The apartment itself is well equipped with all that we need and more. If you have a car, street parking may be a little challenging especially at night but we still managed to find a space. Will definitely be back. Thanks Debra and Jeanne for making this stay so wonderful.

  • The apartment is very well located in Shadyside, a superb area with a lot of trees which were just turning to their fall colors during our stay. A delight. The apartment is welcoming, comfortable and decorated with really nice art pieces. I only regretted it was a bit dark as looking to inside courtyards.
