Right in the middle of Omaha 10-15 minutes to anywhere in town. Situated in the backyard of our corner lot house in a quiet neighborhood. lots a great restaurants and shopping nearby. There is guide to the area in the cabin, and we are available for recommendations.

Pets are ok, as long as they can be around the chickens and not stress them out.

For those interested in staying in the tiny house in october-march, The water is fed to the house via a hose and once it starts to freeze then I will be putting away the external water for the winter. You are still welcome to stay in the house in the winter months just know that you will not have access to a shower. There will be water available for brushing teeth etc...

  • It was a "bucket list" thing: My Colorado-based son met me (his Michigan-based Dad) in Omaha to go the College World Series. It turns out that our stay at the Tiny House was as memorable a part of the experience as the CWS and the Omaha vibe themselves. The price of the Tiny House was a mere fraction of the jacked-up prices of Omaha hotels that were doubled (or more) for the CWS. And although it isn't located right downtown, it only took 20 minutes or so to get there. But price was not the only determinant. The intelligent simplicity of the Tiny House, including its environmental core, was important to us. It was just what we needed and no more than we needed. And when we needed information, Jamie and his wife Jen were available with great suggestions, especially for alternative forms of transportation to get to the ballpark. We DID run into one physical snag in the Tiny House that needed to be addressed and when pointed out to Jamie he immediately fixed it while we were gone for the day. All in all, the Tiny House and its owners were a great find.

  • I loved the Tiny House and only wish I had time to stay longer. Jen and Jamison accommodated my earlier-than-scheduled arrival time and immediately made me feel welcome. The house and backyard are cozy, peaceful, and charming. My favorite moments were in the morning. After going for a run in the neighborhood, I returned to the house, opened the windows and enjoyed coffee and breakfast with the cool breeze blowing through. The house was (email hidden) for working, with a strong wifi connection. I highly recommend staying here. It was very comfortable for one person and I imagine would be comfortable for 2 adults and 1 or 2 small children.

  • The tiny house was clean, as advertised, and overall very good. It was a pleasure, thanks.

  • The perfect stay-cation. Jamison and his family could not have been more accommodating. I am from Omaha, and was looking for a mini "get-away" without having to travel too far. Who would have thought that my expectations would have been blown out of the water? Jamison built the mobile tiny house with his own two hands, as well as most of the furniture in his house, his chicken coop, elevated garden, waterfall and bee farm. The tiny house was tranquil, cozy and modern. We can't wait to go back. Thanks, Jamison!

  • We loved staying in the Chic Tiny House! Jamison and family were wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome. Do not be fooled by the description of Tiny House as it has everything you will need in a place to stay. We would stay here again.

  • Even though we arrived very late, my husband and I were able to find our way (a bit clumsily in the dark!) to the backyard of Jamison's house and made ourselves at tinyhome ;). I loved the simple decorations and the works of art hanging around the house as well as the selection of books that were on the shelf. The ladder to the loft made me remember how old I am, but after the first time going up & down without breaking anything, I felt pretty proud of myself. The environmentally friendly toilet was interesting and somewhat reminiscent of a Johnny-on-the-spot except without any weird smells.
In the morning, I was able to walk around the garden to take some photos and say hello to the chickens. Although our stay was short, we enjoyed the experience and recommend it!

  • Great stay in the tiny house. It was fun staying (email hidden) that was void of distraction. The bookshelf had many interesting books that I flipped through and would recommend this place to my friends!

  • We had a nice one-night stay in the Chic Tiny House, facilitated very well by Jamison. The house has everything you need in a cozy amount of space situated in the backyard with a nearby chicken coop, vegetable beds, and working bee hive. A taste of agriculture in an urban setting,

If you want to eat out rather than in the house, you are only a short 5 min drive from a cute neighborhood of Omaha with a very good wood-fired pizza place, ice cream parlor, French place and more.

Jamison was (email hidden), welcoming us and helping us get settled.

The neighborhood is quiet and we slept comfortably.

The only word of caution is that the ladder to the loft sleeping area is metal and is uncomfortable on unshod feet. Wear sandles, shoes, or slippers when using it.

  • I stayed at the Tiny House for a night during my cross country drive with my girlfriend. The Tiny House was super cool and original. Not the most comfortable but that's not the point. It's a great experience and made our pass through Omaha memorable. Thanks Jamison!

I'm from Omaha, NE. I like working with my hands. In fact, I built the house you're staying in. I hope you love it as much as my family and I do!
