Unwind in an artsy 3 BR 200-years old newly remodeled 3-floor townhouse right in the old Tbilisi 5 min walk from metro, the famous Dry Bridge flea-market and hipster Fabrica. The typical Tbilisi "Italian yard", bohemian design and big 2-level roof terrace with great view, sitting and dining area amid the rose bushes add up to the unique experience.

The space
You are renting a unique family townhouse in the heart of the historical part of Tbilisi. It was built 200 years ago by a German merchant who moved to Tbilisi to check out the new market. Originally it was a one-story thick-walls-high-ceiling building with a huge storage basement made of hand-made Georgian bricks. 15-years ago the second floor was added to the original house, and then 2 years ago the two-level roof terrace. The house is more than 200 sq m, it has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a big kitchen with dining area and two-level roof terrace with small kitchenette and an amazing view of old Tbilisi. Each room has its own unique design: kitchen is vintage-Georgian with antique furniture; one bedroom is Soviet-era style filled with 30s-50s Soviet memorabilia; another bedroom is Oriental with fireplace. The kitchen is equipped with gas/electric stove/oven, microwave, toaster, coffee-maker and includes key necessities like coffee, tea, oil, etc. There are a big screen TV, DVD-player, washing machine, hair dryer, iron with ironing board. You will also have Wi-Fi, tons of books and board games. Terrace has a kitchenette with a small fridge and a grill. The townhouse shares the so-called "Italian yard" with two other houses, which adds the charm to your experience of "real" Tbilisi. The 200-years old vaulted-ceiling basement of the building now houses the "Yoga Cave" studio, which offers everyday yoga classes also in English and Russian.

Where you’ll be

Tbilisi, Mtskheta-Mtianeti, Georgia

The house is located in a typical "Italian" yard as they are called in Tbilisi. This area is very Tbilisi-like, with the 2-3 story houses and "Italian" yards. You have a unique chance to try living like a true-Tbilissian. It is very close to the famous Dry Bridge flea market, and it is the street with a few antique shops. There are a lot of restaurants, cafes, small shops around. It is the heart of the very historic bustling district of Tbilisi, but since the house is facing the yard, it is very quiet. Just 50 meters down the street you will find Spar shop, more little shops, vegetable sellers and a famous wine cellar Wine World that sells great selection of Georgian wine both bottled and tapped. The most hip place to hang out in Tbilisi "Fabrika" with its bars, restaurants and boutiques is just around the corner.
