Other Things to Note
We do have pets (cats and dogs) and we keep them out of the way when we have guests.
Susan and Larry are wonderful hosts. They are incredibly helpful and outgoing. They have an open door policy about any problems that you have (which I didnt have any). They are knowledgable about the area and have great suggestions on what to eat or what to do. The room is spacious and the bed is comfortable.
My husband and I loved staying in Susan's beautiful home! The room was so cozy and comfortable and the steam shower was especially appreciated due to the surprisingly cold weather during our stay. The house is in a wonderful neighborhood and right in a great area of town. We would definitely stay here again!
Susan and Larry could not be warmer, friendlier people. I had a great conversation with Larry spanning music, hardware, and the future of technology. And they both had helpful tips on what to see and do in Louisville. The room was cozy and the steam shower was great. Plus, dogs!
Staying with Larry and Susan helped make my time in Louisville even more memorable. They were phenomenal hosts and helped in any way I could think of. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to stay in a great part of town!
Nice neighborhood, close to everything you could need. Susan and Larry were very friendly and helped with anything I asked for. They were even kind enough to share some of their fresh grown food!
Susan was a fabulous host! I was in town for a month for work and often worked nights. Susan bent over backwards to make sure I could sleep during the day without interuption. Her home was immaculate and very homey and comfortable. I was ceratinly impressed and will stay here again the next time I am in Louisville!
Erin, for some reason, I never received a prompt to give you a review, so I'm going to give it straight to you :-) You were an incredible guest and we loved having you stay with us. I really enjoy watching people explore and enjoy our great city - Shakespeare and all! I hope you return some day or that our paths will cross again. Good luck taking care of all those babies in the world!
This was our first time using airbnb and we couldn't be more pleased. Susan was a gracious and welcoming host, and her house was lovely and very comfortable. The easy access to coffee in the morning was a great perk as well! We love Louisville and plan on visiting often, we also plan on booking with Susan each time we come!

I love sharing my home and listening to all of the adventuring people who come through Louisville. My home has as much farm as you can fit on a postage stamp. We raise Chickens, Bees, Tilapia and Hydroponic vegetables year round. I love to share my knowledge on Urban Farming and with a little notice I am always ready to teach bee keeping, cheese making, how to keep chickens, hydroponic set-ups, etc... I hope you will visit soon!
