Public transit is wonderful in Louisville, and we are a block away from a major bus line that can take you downtown to the river front.
We do have pets (cats and dogs) and we keep them out of the way when we have guests.
My stay with Susan and Larry was fantastic! They were always very kind and helpful with suggestions of places to go and things to do. The room was very spacious and warm. My stay was an extended month long visit and I have to say I will miss the front porch and great location. I would definitely stay with them again!
Susan's place is great. Clean well appointed room on a quiet street in an excellent neighborhood. Minutes to bustling Bardstown Rd and numerous options for drinking and dining.
Susan is a very welcoming host and her beautiful home, which is conveniently located in a very cool part of town, was the perfect place for us to stop on a road trip out to St. Louis. We would definitely recommend staying with Susan for anyone looking to visit Louisville.
Thanks for letting us stay the Ironman was great. The house was very warm and welcoming. Complimentary wine in our room never hurts and the Kentucky bourbon Larry shared with us was great. Very flexible and accommodating. Amazing farm and household!
Susan and Larry were delightful hosts. They live right off Bardstown road, which has a lot of great restaurants. The house was clean and quiet, and the neighborhood was wonderful as well. I'd stay there again, and I'd recommend other people to stay without hesitation!
Susan and Larry are wonderful hosts with a very nice home that they share with airbnb guests warmly. The home is located on a dead-end, quiet street. Old world charm with modern conveniences. Very easy access to dining, shopping, and downtown Louisville events. Their price is also a great bargain. Will stay with them again when in the area.
This was our (my husband and I) first time using the Airbnb service, and we felt that staying at Susan's beautiful historic home was the perfect introduction to Airbnb! The room was very comfortable and quaint. The location is unmatched, steps from a bustling commercial strip with boutiques, restaurants, bars, and coffee shops, and the historic Cherokee Park. Susan and Larry gave us GREAT tips for our stay, and they were top notch hosts!
Details, details, details! A comfortable stay in a belle home complete with all of the modern day essentials and a touch of Old Kentucky charm. Susan is an excellent and gracious host, I would definitely visit again!
Very clean and neat space. House was really cool and in a great location. Definitely made my stay in Louisville great!
Susan has been an angel on earth. Everything was perfect, clean and the area of Louisville is safe and intriguing. Then Larry, her husband is the coolest guy I have met in Louisville. Down to earth and eager to help. Southern hospitality, you can't miss. Can I give 6 stars instead of five? Don't even think about it if you are visiting Louisville. Efthymios
