⛈️Mountainous Region and Weather Preparedness
Our cabin is located in a beautiful mountainous area, where occasional weather-related power and internet outages can occur. Luckily, these outages are typically short-lived. To ensure your comfort during these times, we provide lanterns, extra batteries, and a portable charger for phones and other electronics. Our wood pellet stove, equipped with a backup battery, can provide heat for several hours, and a gas grill with a side burner (and separate pots and pans) is available in the backyard for cooking.
Please note that the cabin primarily operates on electricity and does not have a generator. We are currently working on options for improving this in the future. In the event of a power outage, this means some of our usual amenities may not be available. If an unplanned weather disturbance results in a prolonged outage, please don’t hesitate to reach out and we will do our best to accommodate you.
We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to plan accordingly for the unique challenges and beauty of mountain living!
