Hello! My 2-bedroom apartment is fully furnished with lots of space (for Hong Kong). The master bedroom has a double bed, and gets a lot of light. It is a spacious bedroom. The second bedroom is much smaller (currently used as a large walk-in closet with wardrobes- note: there is an air mattress that is a double bed, comes with proper bed linens, pillows and blankets in the second bedroom). The flat has a dining area (table with seating for 4), kitchen, bathroom, and large living space. The living space includes a futon style couch that is quite large, and VERY comfortable. Underneath the couch are more bed linens, pillows and a duvet for extra comfort. The kitchen is full-size with all the cooking amenities you could possibly want: kettle, stove top oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, pots pans, wine glasses, coffee mugs, etc. There is a large flat screen TV with a DVD player, cable including HBO, Cinemax, Lifetime, Now, etc. THERE IS WIFI! I also have 100+ DVD's of movies and TV series for constant entertainment. There are 3 air-cons, one in the living room, and one in each bedroom. The bathroom is small but has a full-size, proper bathtub, great water pressure, and super hot water.
The neighborhood is fantastic, right in the middle of shops, bars and restaurants, and just one block away from the Mon Mo Temple on Hollywood Rd. The flat is a 7-10 minute walk to the escalator, or walk down the stairs and reach Queens Road Central in less than 5 minutes. Some really good restaurants directly next to my flat are Classified, 3 Monkeys, 208, Chachawan, Oola!, Yardbird, and many more. There is also a Pacific Coffee and 7-11 a block away, and hundreds of shops and restaurants all around SOHO and Sheung Wan.
My building is very private, you will need the pass-code to let yourself in. My flat is on a low floor of a high-rise (34 floors total) with a lift (3 lifts in total). The flat has very high ceilings, so you can use my foot stool that I keep centrally located to reach hard to get places. My flat has a cage gate with a dead bolt lock as we as a front door, so you will feel extra safe (if feeling extra safe is important to you then you are in luck)! Directly across the street from my apartment building is a drop-off laundromat and they will deliver straight to the flat SAME DAY, and is very cheap. Sorry, no laundry inside the flat.
The Sheung Wan MTR station is less than 5 minutes, and the Macau Ferry Terminal is also 5 minutes away. Central MTR station is 10 minutes away. The apartment complex also has a little pool that you are welcome to use (seasonally), just outside the front door to the left!
I will be out of town for several weeks at a time during the year as well as mini-weekends while traveling for work and am happy to negotiate on price depending on your length of stay.
Please feel free to send through any inquiries!
Please note that there is a double air mattress with linens that fits perfectly in the second bedroom. There is also a VERY comfortable and large futon with bed linens in the living room that acts as a third bed. I will ask that you do not smoke inside, and to please keep the air-cons OFF during the day or when you are not at home. They cool the flat down quite quickly and I hate to waste electricity. There is no WIFI. There is a laundromat across the street who will deliver the laundry directly to the flat for free if you tell them the flat #.
Brianna was a great host. Provided nearly immediate response to our request to stay in her flat in HKG. After the booking, we received a very succinct and informative guide about staying at her place. The check in was seamless and we picked our keys up from the doorman. Her apartment is well appointed and spacious for HKG standards. She left great instructions for all appliances/electronics (i.e. Christmas tree lights, TV, HBO, space heater, etc.) She also provided several power converters and a blow dryer! The living room was a particularly cozy place to hang out! Amazing neighborhood was a key highlight as well!
The location is very convenient and you can walk to SOHO and central station. Brianna's home is very cozy and warm and Brianna is very nice and helpful. One point to note is that the actual size is smaller than the picture.
I had a wonderful experience staying at Brianna's apartment, despite being a last minute booking she still made it possible. Her flat is great if you want to be in the heart of the city night life, yet with all the comforts of your own home.
The reservation was canceled 8 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
I highly recommend Brianna's flat. It is just like as it is advertised. This flat and its owner is one of the best examples when expectation meets reality. Every given information was valid, I had the feeling of having a home and I will choose it again. Brianna is very kind, gives excellent care and having a good sense of online communication.
Brianna was a gracious host. Small (the standard for HK), her apartment is thoughtfully organized and appointed with lots of small details, like an umbrella, charge adapters, etc. It is clean, bright, and cheerful.
From the very first moment of our communication, Brianna herself was incredibly responsive and prompt. She patiently helped my visiting family and I with our special needs, including when we inadvertently locked ourself out of the apartment. All of the instructions for the apartment were clear and seamless. It was as easy as checking into a hotel, if not more so.
My mother, brother and I stayed in the the apartment and I would advise that it's a bit tight for three, if two of them aren't a small framed couple (and thus don't share the cozy bed). The futon is imminently comfortable, as Brianna wrote, but general space is at a premium, and we really required the second tiny bedroom/closet as a storage and staging space for our luggage.
The neighborhood is quiet and centrally located to walk 15 minutes to the major bar and restaurant area. It's a short walk to the MTR and charming tram. My older mother found the walk uphill from public transit a bit trying (there is a longish flight of stairs), but my brother and I had no problem.
It was wonderful to have a place to call home during our stay, and Brianna and her apartment gave us just that. This apartment is an ideal base for two friends or a couple wanting more space than a hotel could provide.
This is my first time to use Airbnb. Beautiful apartment in a perfect location. Great to live right in THE best area of SOHO; Sheung Wan. Brianna gave us detailed info about how to find everything and how to treat her apartment. Loved our stay and didn't want to leave. Loved it! We will choose the place again next time.
