Interaction with Guests
I am a freelance photographer and motion graphics artist, so I spend a lot of time working at home. I'll be around for anything you may need help with or just for a casual talk. At the times when I am out working, I am almost always available on phone or email, so basically you can pop me a question anytime. Layout of the rooms is perfect for easy sharing of bathroom and kitchen and maintaining privacy at the same time.
Apartment is located on a quiet street. There is small store right on the corner of the street, and big "Lidl" supermarket, within couple minutes of walking.
Trg sportova (Sports square) is also very near, where you can find some nice bars and restaurants (pizza, kebab, etc.)
There is also a public swimming pool, and a lot of concerts are being held in the "Dom Sportova" hall.
How to reach the main bus station from the airport:
Buses leave airport for Zagreb every 30 minutes. They arrive to Zagreb main bus station and my apartment is quite easy to reach from there.
How to get to my apartment from the main bus station:
Tram station is right across main bus station, you should catch tram line number 2 for Črnomerec and get off the tram on Jagićeva street, the 8th station. There is a railway crossing right next to the tram station, just cross the railway and get to the Magazinska street. There is no real pedestrian crossing, but you'll probably see a lot of people walking across. Be careful and take a good look on both sides for upcoming trains. After you cross the railway, you should be able to see parking lot and big silver/blue building. My street is on the right side of the big building.
If you are coming BY TRAIN - follow the instructions as you would be taking a bus. It's the same tram line, only difference is that the main train station is four tram stations closer.
Apartment is located within 20 minutes of walk to the main city square (Jelačić square) and well connected with tram and train (2 minutes of walking to the tram line 1 and 2, and to the Zagreb west train station).
Other Things to Note
If you have any special demands, please feel free to ask :)
It is NOT for parties or gatherings and I expect the apartment to be left in the condition it was offered. Please respect household items.
Apartment is fully equipped for all needs. There is no cleaning fee but please keep shared rooms clean and wash the dishes and utensils after you've used them.
I had a wonderful stay in Zagreb in Fran's apartment. Everything was as described in add. The location is quite convenient and you can easily reach downtown by tram or walking for a few minutes. Fran is also very friendly and helpful and he even gave me some great tips on things to do in city and the surroundings.
Very nice place, very clean and tidy. In a quiet neighbourhood not far from the city center and good connected by tram. Shops and restaurants nearby.
Fran is a polite, helpful and very friendly person.
Can recommend this place to anybody!
Thank you Fran!
Staying at Ftan's was enjoyable. The room is exactly as depicted in the photo, with utmost comfortable bed. Both bathroom and kitchen were very tidy and clean. And the whole flat has a kind of warm energy. Fran was very responsive and easy to communicate before my arrival, and hospitable during my stay. Simply, I recommend staying at his place!!! I will do so when going to Zagreb next time.
Fran was very hospitable and pleasant. He contacted me few days before i will arrive to ask if i need additional information or if I have any additional requests. He allowed me to check in 4 hours before the check in time. Upon my arrival he asked me if I need any help with the city orientation, he showed me few tips and tricks how to come fastest to city canter, gave me a city map.
The apartment was very clean and organized, my room was exactly how was described and shown on the photo. Apartment is in quiet and safe neighborhood, very nice neighborhood with few wine and dine bars, i saw nice pizzeria too, 2 grocery shops just around the corner, and just 5 min walk is a biggest sport canter in Zagreb (Dom Sportova) with Fitness Canter, Indoor swimming pool, ice hall, sport shops etc. City canter is about 20min walk trough most popular street in Zagreb (Ilica) full with shops what makes a walk nice short and enjoyable, but there is also a tram stop just 5 min from apartment (tram ride maybe 10 min, didn't use it so cant tell exactly).
All in all I would recommend Fran's place and I would definitely stay in his place again.
Fran is really kind man. Just sad I couldn't stay more.
Gracias, Fran.
