Nestled in a rural subdivision with all the modern comforts of home, this darling plantation style house was built in 2007. It has high ceilings and an open floor plan. The decor is warm and welcoming .The bedrooms have comfortable queen size 14 inch memory foam mattress for restful nights of sleep. The 400 sq ft covered lanai has cozy patio furniture and a big bright hammock to laze around in. This over looks the jungle and many fruit trees. The gentle sound of birds signing and wind blowing through the trees will grace your ears .
Located 3-5 minutes from the ocean is Kalapana Cafe and Uncle Roberts Kava Bar. The cafe has wonderful fresh fish,local grass fed beef,fresh local fruits and vegies and creative delicious meals, serving breakfast,lunch and dinner. Located at the end of the lava flow and the newly formed black sands beach. Uncle Roberts Kava bar is a lively night spot .Casual outdoor seating,no cover charge and live music 3 nights a week .There are several farmers markets near by throughout the week specializing in local produce,art, clothing,jewelery and food from all over the world.
Just down the road is Kahena beach, pohoiki and a very large natural warm pond fed by fresh water geothermal springs and ocean water . There is snorkeling,whale watching and surfing near by. Pahoa town is 11 minutes away where you can find several wonderful restaurants and shopping. To name a few restaurants:Paulos Bistro,Kaleos Fine Dining, Luquins Mexican restaurant and more.
Take a boat tour to see the live volcano or hike to it. Go to volcano national park, experience water falls and rain forest . There is so much beauty in nature to see here on the Big Island.
Your host is an experienced/licensed massage therapist for 20 years and offers, hot stone,shiatsu,deep tissue,cranial sacral ,reflexology,watsu etc... If you are here to melt your stress level down to nothing this is the place to be. We look forward to seeing you! Aloha!
