No charge for towels as we used to commercially launder them and some saw this as profiteering which is was not. Now we launder everything on the premises and if you would like a towel, just mention when booking.Unfortunately I have had some bad luck with keys in the past and now ask guests to place some I.D (Or anything) on the fridge (you can take back at any time of course) which helps in remembering when checking out to leave the (website hidden)'s a very easy thing to forget to do I know, but have had to put in place the above. If the key,by accident,is forgotten about and gets lost in luggage etc-(fingers crossed this doesn't happen) but the $80 cost for a new one will have to come out of the security deposit. This is only because they are all computerised and personalised to fit each separate apartment and have re-ordered which takes three weeks. The Body Corp also monitor how many are out at one time.Since starting in April last year,I've lost 8 keys !! so had to work out some way to minimise the loss.Hopefully this wont happen as we can remind each other! Smoking outside is no problem.

My sister and me spent one night at Margi's apartment in South Brisbane. We had a great time!!! The apartment is very cozy, charming and beautiful decorated. We felt pretty comfortable in our room upstairs, with coffee and tea and a big comfy bed. Margi and her friend welcomed us in a very friendly way and Margi and her son Iggy gave us very good tips what to do in Brisbane for one day. They also recommended us a very special authentic italian restaurant 'The Spaghetti House' close to the apartment. We had dinner there, and it was awesome!!! would like to eat the tiramisu again... :D
Thanks Margi, for the great stay in Brisbane !!! We would like to come back again! Jill & Laura
Had a great stay, it's very close and convenient for the Brisbane Conference centre in Southbank which was perfect for my trip. The balcony is a very pleasant place to eat your breakfast from!
Situation géographie excellente à 10 minutes à pieds du centre de Brisbane.
Chambre très sympa avec balcon apprécié
We met Margi in her space when she was about to go out shopping so she didnt really fill us in, but made a point of if we loose the keys they will cost us 80$ she was in such a way that she nearly forgot to show us our room which was superb as a
room BUT there was a list next to the bed which offered us to RENT towels from her for 10 $ and the next morning as i was about to prep my breakfast which was mostly my own brought things i had a look in her fridge if there would be something eatable for me ... there was salmon so i took it and put one little slice on my own bread when margi finally came to the scene and explained that the salmon was private and that i should replace it for 10$ that not only took my breath away but also gave the relaxed sweet sunday morning quite a different TASTE ...so we left the bad taste in hurry behind to finally enjoy a beautiful day away from what i call greed and believe whats wrong with this world ....
If you are considering staying with Margi at "Euro" and have read the above review, please do not take this review as an accurate one,and read the other 62 great reviews below. This is a first for me.Naturally,I sincerely regret saying (politely) that the Atlantic salmon my guest was eating for breakfast, was our dinner. It was embarrassing for me to do, as I was greeted with a beaming smile as I entered the kitchen. This was certainly not the look of someone who had not enjoyed their stay.Very disappointing as it was the morning of checkout and the guests have now found it necessary to be spiteful due to embarrassment as they did not think I was home.I have responded as I am disappointed this incident led to a poor review. If nothing was said, I feel the review would be the same as all my others. Nobody so far has not enjoyed their time at Euro. Please read my response if it will help your decision.Regretfully,Margi
we enjoyed our stay at margis place. it is very close to south bank and city center. room was clean and big enough. and it was also great to enjoy the summer night at the balcony.
The apartment was just lovely and well located, close to South Bank and the CBD. Our upstairs room was fantastic - private, clean, big enough for the two of us and all our stuff and had such a nice balcony. We definitely recommend staying at Margi's.
Easy to catch from the airport, it was relaxing after such a long flight to have our own balcony which comes with the bedroom.
Margi was very friendly and helpful, we felt like home.
The apartment is perfectly located to get to the city center and near by the brisbane river.
we had four wonderful nights at Margi`s!!
The apartment was very nice and handy to all the amenities. The upstairs room provided quiet relief from a busy few days at conference.
Staying at Margi place was great. Specialy because we could arrange this on a short nottice. Thanks you Margi and Chris for your warm hospitality. The room is big ennough and has a small balkony where you can enjoy breakfast. You are right in the middle of vibrant Brisbane South Bay Area, lots of bars shops and musea around here. When we visit Brisbane again we know where to stay. Thanks for all. Marsha & Olivier
Lovely room, fabulous location. Easy walk to QPAC, galleries and South Bank in one direction and the cultural, foodie hub of West End in the other. Thanks Margi!
