Great house, plenty specious to accommodate all 8 of us. We decided to Uber to Bourbon instead of walking since it was quite a haul and we felt safer. Communication was very quick and owner was very accommodating for check-out times since we needed to leave a little later to ca…

Fantastic place to stay in New Orleans, 10-15 minute walk to Bourbon street. This is a clean house with an accurate description. The host was also very good about communication.

Great price and good location away from the craziness of the French Quarter. Still an easy walk to there and Frenchman Street for live music and great food. Hosts were quick to respond to any question.

We experienced the following problems with the home. 1. The home's air conditioning needs attention. The second floor was so hot that it made it uncomfortable to try and sleep. We had to go to Wal-Mart and buy two $18 fans to try and assist the A/C.  2. The front door leaked lots…

Response from New Orleans Properties:
There's a couple of things we can guarantee....During the summer in New Orleans it is hot outside and if you leave the front door wide open it will be hot inside too. The AC works just fine but it is important to keep the door closed even during the times you and your friends were chatting with each other in front of the house. The temperature has been 95 degrees and higher, heat rises in a home, its always best to keep the cool air inside of the home by keeping the doors closed. Our advertisement lists the home as 5 1/2 blocks to Bourbon St, that is walkable to some but not everyone. We've got Uber with short wait times here in New Orleans, we suggest taking an Uber or Taxi for the days that any of our guests prefer not to walk to any particular destination. Another option would be to take our brand new Rampart Streetcar! The new streetcar is located less than two blocks from the home its a fun ride and is an absolute must! Our neighbor across the street may be offended that he was referred to as a 'bum' but don't worry, we will not share that comment with him. Our neighbor sits on his front porch for the majority of the day, he may not look like you and I and that's ok with us. Our neighbor is not a bum, he is a homeowner who sits on his porch for some good old fashioned people-watching. Here in New Orleans we call that Porch Sittin'. Porch Sittin' is fun and we highly recommend it to our guests that want to get the true New Orleans experience. Thanks for the heads-up about the weather-stripping under the door. It sounds like the current weather-stripping didn't stand up to the wind driven rain from the Tropical Storm and High Winds. The weather-stripping will definitely be replaced in case we get another storm with such high winds.

This property was perfect for what we needed. Great location! I would advise not walking in the neighborhood after dark but during the day it is an easy walk to the French Quarter. We had an issue with the main floor shower not working and the property responded within 5 min and …
