Best-in-class experience from Sally, who reached out to me ahead of time to ensure she was there when I arrived. Then, she offered to cook me whatever I desired for breakfast at the time of my choosing. You won't find a better host than this!
We booked Sally's Place for a bicycling weekend in the Traverse Bay area. The location and accommodations were perfect for our needs. Sally is a gracious host. Her home is as described with 3 private, quiet and clean bedrooms, a private bath plus access to another 1/2 bath, a family room for watching TV, reading or conversation, and a large, peaceful and private location away from the bustle of Traverse City, yet easily accessible to many areas of interest.
Sally also provided a generous breakfast and offered to accommodate special dietary needs. We enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return.
We enjoyed staying in Sally's place. She is a great host. Kids had plenty of room outside and inside to play. Place is conveniently located close to Traverse City. Breakfast was delicious. There is a small park with access to lake Michigan walking distance from the house. Everything inside is very comfortable. Thanks to Sally for a wonderful time we spent in her place.
We had a wonderful stay at Sally's. We had a party of 5 including 2 children and it was perfect for us. Breakfast was delicious and the menu choices were great. Sally was especially patient and understanding with our kids and had a great supply of games, books, and movies to help us entertain them. We all had a wonderful time visiting with her and hope to stay again next year!
We had a wonderful time at Sally's home. If you are looking for a comfortable, immaculately clean, delicious breakfast at an incredible price, this is the place to stay. The guest rooms are located at the lower level, providing lots of privacy and freedom. It is nice to know that you will have three bedrooms, living room and bathroom all to yourself even if you do not use all the room, no sharing the bathroom with other guest.
We spent two nights with Sally, rotating the guest list at the last minute. She was extremely accommodating and flexible. Breakfast was great both days. The beds were comfortable and the living space was generous. She was always available, but was never intrusive. We will definitely be staying there again when in the Traverse City area.
Sally was a great host.
She tried to make it a comfortable stay for us (which it was), made the perfect breakfast for us at the desired time and had nice rooms for us that were very cosy and nicely decorated.
Would stay here any time! Thank you very much!
I am a life long native of Traverse City. Born and raised on the SE side, married, and moved to the NW side of Traverse City where I still reside.
A mother of 4 children, and a grandmother of 12, my home is kid friendly.
I have many interest, some of which are flower gardening, travel, movies, reading, visiting with family and friends, just to name a few.
I am retired from the Postal Service where I was a rural mail carrier for many years.
Opening my home as a BNB I hope to meet new people and grow from the new experiences.
I enjoy having guest, a girlfriends weekend, a cousins weekend, families in.
I have hosted young people from traveling church groups, a group of 6 girls from France, and I loved having them here, they are great memories. I hope to have more.
