The space

Wanting to share our "little piece of heaven" with others, here the Peaceful, mountaintop guestroom offers two full size beds with natural hardwood headboards and a private bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Private full kitchen with Lani. The property here is so beautiful we think you will want to spend most of your time outdoors. The guestroom is clean, and calming with its own private entrance. Refreshing island feel with a Taino Indian influence although the room is long and narrow there is plenty of space to relax and unwind. Linens, towels, pillows, beach towels and fans supplied. Also additional outdoor solar shower is available. Our home is nestled on 7 acres in the foothills above Sabana Grande, surrounded by coconut, mango, orange and avocado trees..
While here don't miss out on hiking nature trails, exploring the flora and fauna and then cool off at La Palooa (the river below the house); experience private natural waterfalls, swimming holes and rock formations.
Enjoy your own breakfast with a view, perched upon your private shaded terrace overlooking the valley below. Then at the end of the day just kick back and bask in the beautiful sunsets.

Give yourself a break with the peace and tranquility you need from the hustle and bustle of corporate life. We invite you to experience the quiet beauty of the countryside, while still within the tropical climate, near the beach and not too far from everything Puerto Rico has to offer. We are in the mountains, where nature and life mix, you might see an occasional spider or other small bugs.

We had a great time at Ann's home! It was a lovely location - very quiet and remote, with a beautiful view. The private hiking trail / waterfall pool was also fantastic. We were looking for a quiet place to stay where we could enjoy nature and this was exactly what we were looking for. We never got to meet Ann but she was very helpful through our email correspondence and she gave us some great tips about things to do in the area. Also, her house manager Lyah was very kind and made sure we had everything we needed.

Thanks Kim, glad you had a good time. Sorry we didn't get to meet - perhaps next time :)

We stayed at this house for a 5-night vacation. The house itself was perfect - it was very peaceful to be up among the birds overlooking the valley, sitting on the patio or lounging in the hammock. All the basics were there; the utilities worked well, and it was stocked with all the cooking utensils we needed. The waterfall was so incredible, refreshing and peaceful - we could (and did) hang out there for hours (the walking stick and rope are helpful for getting down). What also impressed us was how convenient it was for multiple day trips around Southwestern Puerto Rico. It does take a good 15 minutes to navigate down the mountain back onto Route 2, but once you're there, there's so many things to do.... snorkeling, hiking the dry forest, kayaking, visiting Ponce, and more. We never ran out of things to do! Can't wait to go back.

Ann's place was incredibly relaxing! She gave us very detailed directions that made it easy to get out to the country side retreat from town. Dalton was super welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed and gave us directions to the local Sunday flea market. The two cats were hilarious and super friendly! It's absolutely worth a trip down to the river, but wear sturdy shoes because the hike back is quite challenging. Our stay at 3Rs made our trip to PR complete.

Thanks Regina, glad to know how much you enjoyed your stay - we would love to have you back anytime.

Ann's spot is excellent! I highly recommend it for anyone looking to stay in this area of PR. The nearby nature trails are nothing short of amazing. Really a little piece of paradise they have going on. Just know that you will be a little bit out in the country, really not too far from town, but if you are looking for a place that is walking distance to shops/attractions this is not it. If you want a quiet, relaxing, beautiful ambience away from everything, then this is definitely your spot in this region of PR.

Response from Ann:
Thank you Jack, we are glad you enjoyed our home and made the most of your stay and our piece of Puerto Rican paradise.

Great place. Out of the way but very peaceful. Ann was a great and thoughtful host. We will miss the regular visits from Tiger and Maui, the two resident cats!

The Bingham Family

Nature lovers, relocated from Eastern Washington. We came to Puerto Rico with a wealth of experience, from hotel and restaurant skills to down on the farm home cooking, As we developed our vacation rental we have enjoyed sharing our gift of hospitality with you. We have spent two glorious years here in Puerto Rico and because of unforeseen circumstance we have to temperately return to Washington - we have a reliable property manager who will have your room clean and ready for your arrival. So we are not able at this time to offer the breakfast service but our apartment has a complete kitchen for your food prep and an awesome outdoor BBQ grill.
