The Space

We are located in the central valley of California between Stockton and Tracy. Our beautiful home is located 5 minutes off of i5 highway and is about 1hr East from San Francisco, 45 minutes from downtown Oakland and 45 minutes from Sacramento.

You can choose a private room with a full size bed and your own bathroom or a private room with 1 Queen bed and your own bathroom. There is plenty of parking and we can even drop you off at Bart to go to city in the morning or pick you up from there for a small fee. We are very accommodating and easy going people. We have 2 super friendly dogs who are also fun to be around. They are quiet and not big yappers.

Free to washer and dryer on sight. Full access to kitchen and fridge.

Price includes made to order hot breakfast and drinks.

If you need a place to rest, relax and possibly enjoy the central valley then this is a good place to call home for a few days. We are also close to the University of the Pacific so if this is where you are planning to go or visit then we are about 15 min by car away. Contact us prior to booking and we can let you know availability.

Guest Access

You have access to gardens, your own bathroom, kitchen, dinning and living rooms. Once you check in there will be a brochure in your room with all near by information, WIFI code, and you will be given your own access code for the front door. Our house is secured with a digital keyless door lock and is monitor 24/7 by a security company and our 2 dogs. With your own key code you can come and go as you like.

Other bedrooms that are not assigned to you are off limits. Please respect other people's privacy as we respect yours.

Interaction with Guests

We interact as much with you as you want. We give you your space and greet you in passing but will not linger around your room hoping to get a full biography. You are welcome to join us in the common area if you want to socialize but it is not required and we totally understand. We want to make your stay with us to be as comfortable as possible. • What can I say about my hosts Wendy and Kevin? They were absolutely great!! I had a blast staying with them. It felt like home away from the way they embraced me. We cooked, washed dishes, baked pies, macaroons, shopped, etc together. I learned a lot because they are both so knowledgable. And they can easily get you hooked on a Netflix show. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. The house is in a great neighborhood that is quiet has a couple parks good for walking/biking. The room was quite comfortable with a full bathroom next door. Both clean and spacious. The kitchen is stocked and fully loaded. Any and everything you need to cook, chip, pit, core, blend, etc is in that kitchen somewhere. Appliances I didn't know existed. The backyard is a treat to walk around in as well. They have a few turtles back there just chilling. One may get lost back there every now and then. Oh and I can't forget the ladies of the house Asia and Daisy. So cute and great at begging. They had me wrapped around their finger. It's a great place to stay if you are in these parts.

  • Wendy is so sweet and friendly, we instantly felt at-home! She has a keyless entry which was great and convenient. On our bed was a goodie bag filled with candy and a homemade pamphlet with the wifi code, pictures of her pups, and good places to eat in the area. She went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable and I appreciated her hospitality. Her dogs are adorable and very friendly! Overall a great stay, and a VERY comfortable bed!

  • Wendy's home is the perfect place to stay; she is incredibly welcoming and she keeps a super clean and comfortable home. I'm honored to be able to stay in a place such as hers.

  • I don't like using the l-word that much, but I can honestly stay that I LOVE the time I spent with Kevin and Wendy, their dogs, and their home. I stayed with them for more than a month and in that time, we became friends! They're wonderful people: incredibly friendly, generous, fun, all of the pleasant adjectives you can think of. When I say friends, I don't mean that they barged into my room wanting to always hang out, but it was in the way where I felt like I was really at home and could really talk to them. I felt so comfortable, none of that tip-toeing around awkwardness. But when I did awkwardly tip-toe around, they made it clear that it shouldn't be like that, so it wasn't. If I'm ever in this part of town, I will stay and visit them. You should too. So much better than hotel/motel life. You'll get to witness the life of two happy people and their happy dogs. It makes you really happy too. They're the things that you'll look forward to when you're coming home from work or whatever your case may be.

If you're sick of hearing about my crush on them and just want to hear about their actual home, then here it goes. They're house is really cute. Lots of homey stuff in it. It really is a quiet, safe, and relaxing chill pad. It's clean and feels like home. Smells good. Nice place to be. If privacy is what you want, privacy is what you will get. Like I said, they have dogs. If you're a dog person, then you'll want to meet these dogs. Even if you aren't a dog person (unless you're allergic to them), they will stay out of your way. They won't jump on your bed if you leave your door open, but they probably will come up to you and sniff you out. You'll like it.

So there you have it! I'm telling you, if you're in Lathrop/Tracy/Manteca for some odd reason, stay here! There's not too much nearby, except the necessities: Target, gas stations, food places, and groceries, but San Francisco is about an hour and 20 minutes away. The Bay Area is an hour away, depending on what city, it may be less than that. Stockton is less than 20 minutes and so is Manteca. Tracy is around 10 minutes away. I liked living here (besides getting to know Wendy and Kevin) because it made me explore the surrounding areas.

Sounds corny, but Wendy and Kevin are life-changers. I firmly believe in being a good person, but I'm also aware that there are not enough good people in the world. These two wonderful human beings prove that wrong. They've motivated me to go above and beyond being good. They're also incredibly hilarious. Don't miss out. :)

If you have any questions, please send me a message! I would like to help out in any way that I possibly can.

  • Wendy was a great host. The room was clean, comfortable, and easy access to the bathroom. The morning breakfast with oatmeal, flax, figs and honey with coffee to go was delicious. Every part of my stay was enjoyable. Thanks so much Wendy for allowing me to stay in your space and I highly recommend your space for anyone looking for amazing accommodations.

  • My girlfriend and I truly enjoyed staying at Wendy's lovely home! The bedroom is spacious and the bed is very comfortable. There is a bathroom right around the corner. Wendy also cooked us a delicious breakfast and gave us some beautiful flowers and sweet corn for the road!

Love cooking, gardening, home decor and dogs. Easy going, no drugs or alcohol and very friendly. In my free time I like to monkey around the garden or public botanical. Always very young at heart!
