About this listing
A nice vintage home with many modern touches, quirky decor, a luxurious bathtub and stocked kitchen. No other Airbnb rental in Brattleboro is closer to town while still being tucked away amongst the trees.
A beautifully updated two-story home with modern style, stocked kitchen, and gorgeous bathroom complete with big tub and full shower. The house is tucked away on a private cul de sac street with only two other homes. The house is great for a family or just a quiet solo get-away. And is the perfect place for those with or without a car as it's a short walk from downtown and the train station.
This particular listing is for the entire home, but feel free to contact me if you just need a private room. We're happy to share for a discounted price if we're around.
Once you've arrived, spend time in this artistically decorated space, or out on the screened in porch and deck. Even in cold weather it's a relaxing place to sip a warm drink and take in a view (when the leaves have fallen.) The house is only a few minutes walk from downtown Brattleboro shops, restaurants, theaters, and the top notch food co-op.
There is one bathroom on each of the floors for your convenience. One bedroom is smaller with a full size bed and lots of books located next to the full bath. The other bedroom is much larger with a queen sized bed. We will do our best to accommodate with extra airbeds for larger groups when possible. There are no down pillows or comforters used in this home in case of allergies.
Feel free to write me with any questions you may have. I always do my best to reply promptly!
The entire home, except for a storage room upstairs.
Interaction with guests
I'm happy to answer questions and such during your stay, but in general I'm pretty hands off. Depending on longer stays I might have to come by and check my mail or grab something from storage, but I always call or message first.
Located just outside the center of downtown Brattleboro. Moments away from the train station, adorable shops, restaurants, theaters, and the Brattleboro food co-op.
Amtrak station is right downtown (a .2 mile walk from the house.) There is also a local bus system. There is parking available at the house.

A working musician and nice gal who you could certainly trust in your home. Before turning to music full time, I was a professional house & pet sitter, so I have lots of experience in taking care of homes, and treating spaces and hosts with the utmost respect. I have lived in San Francisco, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Northampton, MA, and now reside in Brattleboro, VT.
I look forward to meeting new friends, and fellow travelers.
