Interaction with Guests
We imagine most guests want to stay on their own. But since we live on the ground floor we love when the guests come along to meet for a chat. You are always welcome for a question or anything you may need.
The apartment is ideally located in a calm part of the city Centre, it is at walking distance to:
- Grand Place, the very centre of Brussels
- Corner shop and nice bakery in the same street
- Trendy bars & restaurants and from Rue Dansaert (designers & shopping district)
- Tram station (porte d’Anderlecht) is near the house which drives you in 5 minutes to Brussels midi station (Thalys, Eurostar, trains to Brussels National Airport (Zaventem) and shuttles to Brussels South Airport (Charleroi)
- Public parking in the area.
The apartment is well connected with the public transport to tourist attractions, train/bus stations and the airport. From here you will visit most of Brussels on foot.
Other Things to Note
Paid parking has been introduced in almost whole Brussels. There is Q-park garage called 'Dansaert' is at 10 minutes walk from home: Place du Nouveau Marché aux Grains 2, 1000 Bruxelles and it costs EUR 18 for 24 hours. This is cheaper and safer than parking on the street. You can find further parking garage info on the internet.
We care about the environment and need your participation for the recycling. We ask you to keep recycle separated from regular waste.
Please, keep both windows closed when you are not at home. An unexpected rain shower could let water inside and damage the apartment.
Respect the neighbours: we expect no noise or loud music at night and to be quite in the staircase.
We expect you tidy up the apartment before leaving. We have described in a leaflet a list of easy and simple tasks to do before you leave. It will not take more than 20 minutes. We appreciate your collaboration with this.
Last rule of the house: Enjoy your stay!
Jose sent us a very comprehensive list of places to go/fun things to see, all per his recommendation! He went over the list with us upon our arrival and sat down with us to help us plan our trip to Brugge the following day. He was very kind! The apartment was clean, very cute, had a lovely view of Brussels. If we came back to Brussels, we would stay here again!
Jose was very kind and flexible with our arrival/departure times which we very much appreciated!
Jose was more than excellent host! Particularly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. His apartment is in an excellent location, unique, safe, clean and warm. The view from the window is amazing! We highly recommend it for any potential guests!

My name is José. I grew up in Barcelona, lived in Amsterdam during 20 years and now in Brussels for 6 years. Open minded, easy going and social, I'll be able to chat with you in Spanish, English, French, German, Dutch and even a bit of Italian.
I like culture, travel, good food and good times with friends.
I'm a host, and sometimes a guest on AirBnB. Looking forward to meeting you and helping you to have a nice stay in Brussels, in the flat which is much appreciated for being original and cosy.
Drop me an email if you need more info :-)
