The building is a few steps from beautiful, tree lined Washington Ave., and the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. The Brooklyn Museum is a two minute walk from the building ((website hidden)_(email hidden)p). Guests will have access to the entire apartment except my storage closet.
I encourage guests to initiate contact with me as frequently as needed to make them comfortable.
I love being so close to Prospect park. It's great for running and meeting people through team sports. There are a lot of new restaurants on my corner street, Washington Ave. It's a great neighborhood for walking around going to art galleries, outdoor markets and music venues. It's also really fast and easy trip to Manhattan.
The 2, 3, 4, 5, and S trains are about five minutes away from the apartment. The subway is usually the fastest way to get anywhere in Brooklyn We also have busses running close by but I am not familiar with the schedules as yet.

I am a very seasoned traveler or so I would like to think. But the choice of going through Airbnb and select Tanya’s place was the best choice I have ever made. This was a much better experience than the impersonal touch of hotels. As late as my flight was, Tanya greeted my family and I with a smile. Even with the exhaustion of hosting and my constant calling, she was a very gracious hostess. I am not easily impressed on many things but this was beyond expectations. This NYC trip was not my first. With this personal touch and a tremendously wonderful hostess, such as is Tanya, makes me want to come here, even if it was for just a day. The location was excellent and easy access to every direction I want to go. This was not just a great experience, it is priceless beyond words.
My son and husband were extremely pleased and we were able to achieve all our goals. Eating out or in was easy because there were restaurants and supermarkets rights around the corner or within 5-7 minutes walking distance. If it was sightseeing, the Botanical Gardens were right there or heading towards Manhattan was just a 5-minute walk to the Subway and voila, you are there. It was simple divine and hope the next time I am there, it will be the place to be
Two friends and I had a wonderful time at Tanya’s apartment. It was clean and very cozy, providing everything we could wish for, such as sheets, towels, hair-dryer, and even little toiletries. When the toilet tank was not working, Tanya had it fixed the very same day. Communication with her was great at all times. I recommend staying at her place. It is located in a very nice Brooklyn area and easily accessible via public transportation.
Ideal host and apartment. Tanya was very flexible and punctual. The apartment was extremely clean and equipped with many clean towels, sheets and even bathroom essentials such as shampoo, body wash, blow dryer etc. The location was also perfect. The apartment is located minutes away from fun restaurants, bars and the subway. I would 100% come back!
Tanya was really professionnal, she waited us in the apartment late in the evening to give us the keys when we arrived in NYC.
She's very friendly, serious, flexible, and she did all it was possible to help us during our stay. When we had problems with hot water sometimes, she was ready to bring us a water heater but we needn't because it came back.
One other very important thing : the apartment have a very good location, close to Prospect Park & Brooklyn Museum, it's possible to reach in less than 5 or 10 minutes a lot of metro lines to go to every part of Manhattan... What could you imagine better? It's a perfect place to stay with a perfect and very serious owner.
I stay in ALOT of hotels while on business and can be pretty picky. This lovely apartment has everything you need for a short or long stay. We even managed a Thanksgiving meal in this sweet little apartment. Tanya has an amazing attention to detail, from the yogurt, water, tea, and snacks to get your holiday started, to the extra toiletries in case you forgot a toothbrush at home. She was flexible with our arrival and accommodated a same-day request to arrive a day early. The location is perfect if you like to visit a beautiful library, visit museums and botanical gardens, eat great food, take long walks in Prospect Park, shop at an open-air market, or hop on the Metro to Manhattan. We didn't have any issue with apartment noise. A bit of music coming in from somewhere but not offensive by any means. Thank you Tanya for your kindness, attentiveness, and flexibility.
I can't say enough about Tanya's apt. It was much more than I imagined. The place is perfect, wuth anything you need, and very comfortable.
She left water, crackers and yogurt for us, a lovely touch. Also there were shampoo, body lotion, tooth paste... Everything was great and again, the apt is beautiful!
It was close to metro so we could be in Manhattan i no time. Thete is a supermarket around the corner, very convenient.
The building is dirty and some neighbours were loud, but if you just want a place to relax when you come back, like us, it won't matter. We are glad we chose it!! She also was great with check in and check out times! Thanks Tanya!
Excellent apt., clean, updated. Tanya met us at the door as we arrived and showed us around. Excellent price. Snacks and yogurt bought for us. Close to our daughters, so location worked well. Transportation, park, and museum close by.
Tanya's apartment was exactly as promised--clean, comfortable and in a great location. It completely met our needs. Tanya was easy to communicate with about everything and seemed genuinely interested in making our visit as pleasant as she could. Many small touches (extra towels, snacks, water bottles in the fridge, restaurant recs) were very much appreciated.
Good location. The building is old and not very clean, but the appartment is clean and in good condition. Welcoming, yet a "nice hotel" feel, thanks to Tanya, who had prepared complimentary biscuits, tea and water, as well as soap and toothbrush. Would recommend.
I've been there for 2 months. The place is big and clean. Full furnished, you do not need to buy even a spoon. The location in Brooklyn is great, just 2 blocks away to Brooklyn Museum, Prospect Park and Botanical Garden. Tanya is a wonderful host.
