Spacious perfectly located apartment has two real bedrooms plus a large living room for additional guests. Sauna, jacuzzi, air conditioning, reliable high speed internet, cable TV, washing machine, dishwasher and much more.
I offer a charming, extra-clean, and spacious two bedroom apartment with two and a half bathrooms that can comfortably sleep up to 7 adults in an absolute perfect location in the historical center of St. Petersburg.
The apartment is located on Nevsky Prospect, which is the main street in the historical center. All central sites are within walking distance. The Hermitage Museum, St. Petersburg's most popular tourist destination housed in the Winter Palace on Palace Square at the end of Nevsky Prospect is approximately a 15 minute walk. Metro Station Mayakovskaya (where the green and red metro lines connect) is less than 2 minutes walk. There are busses constantly going down Nevsky Prospect and there is a bus stop within a few steps of the apartment. Moscow Train Station, the main train station servicing trains to/from Moscow is about 5 - 7 minutes walk. The other long distance train stations are all within a few metro stops.
The sleeping area breakdown is::
1) Master Bedroom has King sized bed for 2
2) 2nd Bedroom has both a Queen sized bed for 2 and a separate single bed for 1.
3) The living room has an L shaped couch opens to a bed for 2.
There are many great features in the apartment including: sauna large enough for 2, jacuzzi, high speed Wi-Fi, 4 separate air conditioning units, washing machine, dishwasher, large kitchen with everything needed for cooking, hardwood floors, , high ceilings, heated tiles, 2 large screen TVs with cable, large work desk, safebox, and on and on and on.
Towels and Linens of course are provided; Iron, hair dryers, etc. are all present. Cleaning service is provided once per week wtih extras available for reasonable charge.
There are several super markets within 2 - 3 minutes walk. The largest shopping center in St. Petersburg is 7 minutes walk, and there are several other new large shopping centers even closer. Several gyms are within 5 minutes walk. There is a bank with ATM/bankomat machine in my building, and several others within 1 - 2 minutes. There is a money exchange with very competitive rates just across the street. There are too many restaurants, cafes, and bars within 5 minutes to count. A post office is next door. Starbucks just opened its first St. Petersburg location 100 meters away and there are several competitors within equal distance.
The entrance to my building is in a quiet courtyard about 30 meters from Nevsky, and windows face this quiet pleasant courtyard. This means you get to experience living in the heart of the busy city, but don't have be bothered by city noise. It's the best of both worlds.
The apartment is on the 3rd floor. There is an elevator but some stairs are still required.
Additionally, I'm a licensed tour guide and happy to answer any and all questions about St. Petersburg and Russia. I can help with your visas, transportation from airport or train station, theater tickets, guided tours, restaurant and nightlife recommendations, souvenier ideas, or any miscellaneous questions.
Interaction with Guests
Once I receive a reservation, I'll send a detailed message with check-in options. I'll meet you at the apartment address and show the apartment to you and make arrangements for your check-out. I'm available by phone always if you have any questions, and there is a phone in the apartment to use free of charge to reach me.
The apartment sits just a few doors from Metro Mayakovskaya. This is where the green and red lines of St. Petersburg metro system meet. There is also a bus stop just across the street if you want to use it to get down Nevsky Prospect faster. Metro tokens are currently 28 rubles (about 50 cents / euro) and bus tickets are 25 rubles. Most of the places in St. Petersburg that are popular to visit are within walking distance. If you need a taxi or private car with driver for something, I can help you arrange it.

The place and the location were absolutely amazing!! The house is beautiful, perfectly clean and spacious. The location, again fantastic, very convinient to go walking anywhere in the beautiful St Petersburg. Irina and her husband Chuck are lovely and they were very helpful at all the time. They helped us on booking a taxi to go to the airport :) We highly recommend this place and definetly we will came back in our next trip to St Petersburg.
The apartment was clean, spacious and very centrally located. Everything you needed was within walking distance. All the tourist crap one would want to do is also within walking distance or if you'r a lazy fat American, you can take the metro which is also close by. Irina and Chuck are very accommodating and will attend to your every retarded tourist need. P.S. Congratulations to them both to their future daughter Arianna- sorry Chuck, you lost this battle :)

About the Host, Irina
I'm a year round St. Petersburger. I grew up in the Smolensk area, attended University in St. Petersburg and never went home. I recently opened my own tour business for incoming visitors. It's a start-up, not much to report yet. My hobbies are travelling, reading, going to the gym, and taking my Golden Retriever for long walks. As a fellow traveler, I share your interests in new places and welcome all questions that will help you plan your trip and ease your fears.
