Stayed here for a Packers game over Thanksgiving weekend and couldn't have been happier with the accommodations. Jason made sure that food and beverages were in place for our arrival - and even arranged for the fireplace to be on when we got in (which was cool). . The house itself was spacious, clean, sunny, comfortable, and really close to Lambeau. Had a great time in GB and this place was a big part of that - will definitely come back if I'm in the area
Jason communicated exceptionally well. Anytime I had a question, his response time was almost immediate. The listing was as shown in pictures and very accurate. The house was a short drive to Lambeau where we spent most of our time. Jason had beers in the refrigerator for us and we found the home to be everything we needed for the long weekend.
Jason was a great host. He was there to welcome us, give us a tour of the space and to answer any questions we had. We weren't there for very long, basically just to drop off our things and head over to Lambeau, and back after the game to crash. (Jason was kind enough to give us all the ice from his freezer for our cooler - then we forgot to bring it!)
The house is very large and comfortable, and the yard is giant - you could have a great time with friends out there! Unfortunately it was chilly and raining when we stayed. :(
The rooms had great furniture like comfy couches, beds and huge super clear HD TV's with probably a million channels. (It may be less than a million... don't quote me)
The home is close to Lambeau and I would recommend the house to anyone who is in town for the game, or anyone just in Titletown who wants a spacious place to stay.
Me and a friend stayed at Jason's place for this year's home opener for the Packers. Jason was awesome on every level. House is great - lots of space, very clean and all in, he made us feel very welcome. Definitely a must-stay if you're ever in town for Green Bay football or for any other reason!
5 friends and I came to Green Bay for just one night to see a Packer game. We didn't spend much time at Jason's but it was a perfect place for all 6 of us to sleep after a long day of partying at Lambeau. Had an amazing time at the game and would love to return. When I do I'll be staying at Jason's.
Jason was prompt in his communication and touched base prior to arrival to learn any special preferences. The house was as the pictures show. The master bedroom did still have a hamper with dirty clothes and the downstairs 3 twin area is still alittle rough with exposed drywall and an open ceiling. The bathroom does have some age and appeared to be in the middle of some painting upgrades. Internet only worked in the front family room and downstairs in the basement during our stay. (Jason did say he was going to look at after our stay). We also only had 1 working burner on the stove.
My biggest concern, and this could be my expectation of the site, is that I booked the entire house- not shared or room. To me, that has always meant, entire. Jason's roommate lives upstairs which isn't listed. While he is super nice and we didn't see him much, it still wasn't an entire house rental. Additionally, the sunroom had been rented to another guy for 1 night of our stay prior to my entire house rental. When I asked Jason he said I only said we would have 3 people so he only charged for 3, not 4 (my brother opted to fly up from Austin at the last minute) so that was our discount. Also, Jason came in Monday to clean up and it was just odd for other entire house rentals I have had in the past.
The house is in a great location. The backyard is huge and they were both very nice. We just wanted a family together time, private without a shared experience. Many liked the shared experience just wasn't what we expected.
We still had a great time. Thank you Jason!!,
Melanie, thank you for all your feedback. I have taken your review seriously.
1. No more hampers with clean or dirty clothes.
2. The bathroom paint was is a sample that ultimately was tossed. The idea is to have a new vanity installed with heated floors and a matching paint scheme.
3. The internet issues have been corrected. There are 4 wireless access points, 2 are on a timer which will automatically reset each night around 3am.
4. The basement is continually in development and will have several very fun features. In time this will be a beautiful space. New photos will continue to be added to disclose the current state.
We were in town for the Redskins/Packers game and staying at Jason's was perfect! Although we never got to meet Jason, we enjoyed talking with his roommate and another person staying there. Jason went out of his way to ask what we liked to drink and make sure there were a few of our favs in the refrigerator. His cat, Prancer, is a sweetheart who affectionately earned the name, "Mr. Slippers" from my husband. With a sold-out weekend at all the hotels, Jason's place gave us a home away from home that made our visit to Green Bay terrific!
