+We were arriving late 30 min than expected due to train delay, host waited for us to check in. Very friendly and approachable, answered all our questions and gave recommendations to where supermarket and shops are. Wifi was slow to start with but ok later on. Small, cute appartment with comfortable bed. Nice quiet neighbourhood very close to Vatican. Metro station is also very close by, so easy to get around town. -Shower not very clean and very small, hot water runs only for couple of minutes so was impossible to wash hair properly.

Great value tidy apartment very close to the Vatican, a metro station and a walkable distance from the centre of the city. Host was very helpful and spoke good English, and was flexible with arrival and leaving times. Apartment was quite small but perfect for a city break, as other reviews the shower is small, and there is quite a bit of noise including a 'spitting' man, but given the price it is still a good place to stay to see Rome.

The apartment was neat and tidy and was in a good location. It was extremely hot at night though as it did not have any air conditioning. The shower was also extremely small and hard to get into. There is also a noisy neighbour that makes a weird spitting sound each night. He also kept us up until the early hours of the morning shouting and yelling (I think he was drunk) on our last night in Rome.

The host had good communication and the apartment was very easy to reach from the airport. It is much faster to taxi in than wait on public transport though! The apartment was as it looks in photos however seemed as if it hasn't had a good clean in a while. The floors and walls had marks on them which seemed grimey and the bathroom had not been cleaned as there was soap scum on the shower and sink and the shower didn't drain. The shower is tiny as well although this was specified from others reviews. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The location was good to get to the Vatican City and close to the metro which made travel in Rome easy. All in all it was a very small apartment and the fan provided did not work which made the apartment very hot. The host said she would send through some recommendations for things to do in the area but never did so we didn't end up eating locally.

The location was great. Very convenient to Vatican City and the Metro. As someone else described. Modern apartment in an ancient building. Interesting neighborhood. There were 2 negatives. First the shower is very small. I have never in my life seen such a small shower. Secondly we visited in August when it was very hot. A couple of fans would have made this workabable. Even though there are 2 large windows they are on the same side facing the courtyard so there is no cross ventilation. After midnight it finally cooled down enough to sleep. Overall it was a good value.
