Our cabin is nestled in the majestic mountain terrain of Gallatin National Forest and is just 12 miles from Gardiner and Yellowstone National Park.
The cabin is adjacent to Cinnabar Creek, and has a magnificent porch with Adirondack chairs to enjoy the beautiful mountain view.
There is a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, pull out sleeper in main cabin and a Tulikivi Fireplace.
The cabin will sleep 4, plus one small child on a small mattress on the floor.
There is a 3/4 bath. No sink in the bathroom.
This is a mountain cabin in the heart of Montana’s wilderness. While it has most of the amenities of home, it is still a rustic cabin. We have books, travel guides and games in the cabin, along with wireless internet (due to the cabin's remote location the speed is slow). There is no TV or phone in the cabin. You will also not get reliable cell service at the cabin (there is also not cell service in most locations inside of Yellowstone National Park).
We have a small cabin we use on the weekends. We like to say hello and welcome guests but otherwise we let you enjoy your time away from it all.
4WD or AWD needed from November to March. Road is very well maintained but it may not be plowed immediately if there is a large snow storm

I live full time in beautiful Bozeman MT. Spend most of my weekends at our cabin with my family and my mini dachshund Lily. We love to hike, fish, and generally just relax away from it all.
My parents have owned The Lazy M since 1995 and we love to share our cabin with guests so they can find their own wonders in Yellowstone. We are extremely knowledgeable about the area and would love to answer any questions you have.
