  • This is a very beautiful house, in what people told us was an "up and coming" neighborhood- which means its a rough looking area. We didn't have any safety issues, but it's also an industrial street with some really shady areas around, so we were cautious not to go out at night. The bathrooms and bedrooms were wonderfully set up, and the kitchens were spacious as well. Only thing is that we had a group of 10 staying there for 4 days and we didn't quite feel that the kitchen was well stocked enough to properly cook all of our meals. We made do by doing lots of dishes and being creative with some kitchen tools! Also- the 3 phone numbers they sent us in advance were not answered when we arrived, and the only one who called back was a guy who said he doesn't even work for them anymore. So I felt like Adina prepared us well and sent lots of info in advance, but then it turned out it wasn't all correct. Generally, a lovely home (email hidden), with just a few spots for improvement.

  • (review for Adina)
Adina was extremely helpful, warm and attentive to all our needs from the very beginning. We were a large group who ended up renting both apartments in the building and it couldn't have worked out better! The smaller apartment upstairs was perfect to sleep a small group and the rest downstairs - which doubled as a great communal space for both parties. Speedy Wifi. The back yard was even better than expected and the real beds were super comfy. You could hear others walking about sometimes, so if you are a really light sleeper earplugs will come in handy. The neighbourhood is lovely and quiet, however, and although seems a little industrial and remote in the photos/(website hidden) maps, it's actually in a proper neighbourhood and really short (& safe) walking distance from bars, cafes, supermarket, delis, pharmacy, etc. Franklin Av. train station only a hop & a skip also. Brooklyn is definitely the place to stay when in NYC and you would be hard pushed to find somewhere better I reckon!

  • We were a large group of students (15+) and could totally enjoy our stay! The area is quite nice, especially the Franklin Ave with a lot of nice small cafes, shops, restaurants etc.
You can walk about 5 mn. to the next train which will bring you in less than an hour to Manhattan.
We booked the whole house. It consists of two separate appartements with two different entries. We were not really aware of that but it was not a problem.
We even used the backyard (in March) for a barbecue :-)
Adina was quick in response and fixing some minor problems with the flat.
We can really recommend the appartment!

  • Great space for the family gathering for a local wedding. Lots of room, terrific back courtyard - can only imagine how fantastic it would be when the temp is higher than 20 degrees! Info on Brooklyn, transportation, etc was invaluable for us small town folks. (email hidden) to stay.

I was organizing meetings for master and doctorates students. We really enjoyed our stay at the 4 story Garden Pagoda! We rented the 2 apartments. It was spacious and we were sad we did not have enough time to enjoy the outdoor garden! The location is on an industrial street and they were construction waking us up early. So for those who plan to sleep late, take the bedrooms that are not close to the street. (But by the time you come, it should be other).

There are restaurants and shop nearby!

It wasn't a problem at all to go to manhattan. It was a direct metro!

Thank you to Adina and her team!

  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Garden Pagoda! The home was clean and spacious and the outdoor garden was awesome! We were in the area for business and Adina and crew were unexpectedly helpful in helping us with a happy hour that we hosted at the garden pagoda. They coordinated with a chef to provide food, brought drinks and were super responsive to all of our needs. The service far exceeded my expectations!
The location is on an industrial street but walking distance from great coffee shops, yoga and shops.
