This place is one of a kind. It has amazing views, the staff is kind and will help you with anything you need. Marco gave us great restaurant recommendations and was very kind anytime we needed them. As you can read in the other reviews, the place is a bit far from the center of Positano, but the bus runs every hour and the bus stop is right by the Airbnb entrance. Would definitely stay there again and enjoy it more. Thanks for the great staying!

My boyfriend and I were on vacation and wanted to visit Positano. Despite being disappointed by how touristy Positano was, Montepertuso and Pasquale's BnB were BREATHTAKING! There are fun restaurants right across the street with more great views and we even just picniced in our room one night because nothing could beat that view. The Path of the Gods is in the next town over; Nocelle is super adorable; and the stair hike up to Montepertuso from Positano was amazing (yet super exhausting). As a warning, it is a tad difficult to get to the BnB because the bus is often packed and cabs can be exhausting. There is also a 5 minute hike up to the accommodation on a dirt path; but if you can deal with these, you NEED to stay here and experience this.

The place is definitely beautiful , the breakfast was amazing and the view is breathtaking however the staircase or hiking path to access the place was definitely challenging and in my view a little dangerous . I understand that it might be tolerable for some people but I was not aware of how high and steep it was and it definitely hindered my vacation a great deal. I didn't read any reviews that mentioned the path and maybe coming from Canada I expected something different .. overall I got to admit the breakfast and the view made up for a lot thank you for everything.

This place is an absolute gem, and we couldn't recommend it more. Colle dell'ara offers a less touristy experience of Positano that simply can't be matched. We enjoyed breakfasts prepared fresh from the gardens every day, and we also enjoyed a lovely community dinner also prepared directly from vegetables and fruit from the garden and all local products. The hosts were more than kind- they were welcoming and made it their goal to ensure a peaceful stay. We loved everything about our trip, and we hope to return again.

THE GOOD: The hosts are very friendly and personable. The view from our room was amazing - especially sunrise. And there's a fantastic, free breakfast served each morning. Guests are friendly, and it has a warm vibe. WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW: The wifi worked about 10% of the time we were there (a week). We asked about it several times; initially the hosts said they would adjust the modem; later they said they had been having trouble with it for some time. There were several maintenance issues in our room. The refrigerator appeared to work initially, but we realized it wasn't keeping food cold at all. When we mentioned something about it, the hosts seemed to already be aware of the issue, but for some reason kept it in the room?? As with many places in Europe, there's no air conditioning - we understood that. But the fan in our room was barely working (it didn't reach max speed, and it would only face downwards). And the screen keeping out bugs from the balcony door was totally ripped. The walk to the airbnb from the bus stop is approx 7-10 min hike in dirt, gravel, etc - keep this in mind if you're planning to wear nice shoes or pants. For a few nights, the lights guiding the way for the entire 7-10 min hike were completely broken - luckily, we had the flashlights on our phones to guide the way. The lights did get repaired after we asked about it, but then weren't working again on the night before we left. Finally, the water pressure is inconsistent. Some times it was fine; others you could barely brush your teeth let alone shower. This Airbnb may be the right place for some guests. I personally expected more.

Beautiful location and the people are amazing. Great help in orienting us and getting us transportation and reservations. Views are incredible and well worth it. Location does require a significant bus ride to get to and from the town proper and the busses are often very crowded. Taxis are an option but can be pricey. We really did enjoy our stay and it was definitely one of the most secluded locations you can get for that peace and quiet stay!

My sister and I had the most wonderful two night stay! Although it is a bit out of town, the atmosphere, views, and accommodating hosts were well worth it. The bus comes every hour to take you to or from town, or it's about a 45 minute trek along the stairs; either way it's easy enough to get around. Everyone was incredibly welcoming, informative, and helpful - and around if you needed anything. The room/house is general was very clean, neat, and tidy. We really enjoyed the family style dinner they hosted one of the nights we were there. A wonderful evening spent with perfect strangers enjoying fresh, organic and authentic Italian cuisine. We would definitely stay again, and hope to someday!
