I had a great stay with Monroe! The apartment was clean, private, and comfortable. Monroe left coffee and fresh cream for the morning, which, along with the option to brew in a french press or with a stovetop percolator, helped me start off my two mornings in a relaxing and comfortable way.
Monroe was also totally available with great suggestions for places to eat, visit, and just generally find your way, in Asheville. I'd definitely stay here again!
Great stay! The place was clean, spacious and filled with lots of natural light. The Hulu and Netflix was an unexpected and nice addition.
Monroe was awesome. My wife and I loved the place and the location was great, too. Would definitely stay again!
Monroe was very nice and accommodating. The neighborhood was cozy and convenient to oodles of nice restaurants and bars. Apartment was clean and very functional. Would stay again.
Monroe was exceptional. This was a beautiful space that had so clearly been made with great care and thought. The space was warm with light, beautiful furnishings and art. Monroe had cold water in the fridge as well as coffee grounds and creamer ready for use. He had created a great website that answered any questions I might have had about the location and what he enjoyed to do in the area as a local. This space is in a great area in terms of things to and feels very safe. I would recommend to anyone and would stay again.
We did not get to meet Monroe in person, but he was an incredibly welcoming host all the same. We booked a little last-minute and had never used Airbnb before. Everything went off without a hitch and was more incredible than we had hoped. Looking at pictures is one thing; actually being in this beautiful space is another. With the vast amount of natural light and the eclectic and charming decor it's hard not to feel at home right away. It is a gorgeous space I would want to live in, especially with its proximity to all the amazing things West Asheville has to offer. We are already looking forward to our next trip to Asheville and we can only hope that Monroe's place will be available! We can't wait to stay here again!
We loved the apartment, it was beautiful! Close to everything! You could walk to areas in West Asheville & take a quick Uber to downtown. We enjoyed learning how to use the French Press for coffee. Did not meet Monroe, but we did not have issues. I would recommend this place to others or stay here again on future trips.
