Walk to yoga studios, Excellent restaurants, such as The Admiral or 12 Bones, Sunny Point, (the Top 3 on Yelp), Famous Harvest Records, The Wedge Brewing Co., Grey Eagle Music Hall and Battle Cat Coffe. There is a brand new Restaurant WALK (West Asheville Lounge and Kitchen) less than half a mile walk down the street.

If you bring your bike you can zip down to the river district for mostly flat rides and get to Biltmore Village, out to Swannanoa, Black Mountain, up the river toward Madison County. Bikes can also easily be rented in town too, heck you can just walk to a bike store and rent one. Earth Fare (healthy living food store), is just around the corner. • Monroe was very welcoming and easy check in. Nice quiet neighborhood and apartment open, well decorated, and clean. Monroe gave us good recommendations of places to eat and directions to get there. We would come again if we find ourselves back in Asheville.

  • Monroe was a great host to us. Very easy to get in touch with, and the apartment was even nicer than the pictures. Bedding was clean and appliances were all in working order. The view didn't hurt, either. We will definitely be coming back.

  • Monroe was a great host and we had a very enjoyable stay at his abode. Great location and super cute place. Eggs, hair dryer, towels, coffee and coffee creamer. Monroe really went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We'll definitely be back.

  • Monroe's cozy and charming studio apartment is a sunny, soul-centering haven
and hub- for experiencing all the artistic/creative energy, culinary delights and open, gracious people that Asheville has to offer.
Monroe was quick to respond to any request- a caring and attentive host that, while close-at-hand, always respected our privacy; he even took the time to thoughtfully take down our towels from the line ( while we were Downtown ), as to not get drenched from a passing storm, and placed them neatly- folded at our door.
We definitely look forward to our next visit!
