  • Monisha and Chris are great hosts, they make you feel right at home. Location is fantastic. Kitchen is fully equipped (with professional stuff) for those who do not want to eat out occasionally. Subway stations are very close. Being a street level apartment it has the advantage of not making you up and down the stairs with suitcases (which many apartments in NYC do). Minor downside is street noise, which can be easily solved by closing the windows. We had a great time there and would definitely stay again.

  • The apartment was exactly as described. Great location, helpful tips from our hosts for local restaurants made our stay very enjoyable. The building was secure, clean, and having laundry machines available in the building was wonderful. We would definitely stay here again. ~ The Goldman's

  • I had a great time at Chris and Monisha 's appartment. Very clean, and it was exactly as mentioned in the publication. The location could not be better. If I come again to NY without doubt I will contact them for the appartment.

  • Great location! Stone throw away from the subway lines, lots of great places to eat within walking distance and close to the shopping district. Very spacious lounge area within a lovely building. Communication was very prompt and a welcome email provided tons of information of recommendations in the area (The Japanese black cod was just divine thanks!). The street is a little noisy as it is a ground floor apartment so we had trouble sleeping at night BUT the location really is very convenient and we enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you

  • Now that's what we're talking about when we talk about location! We stayed at 4 different apartments and that's definitely the best location of all. Very comfortable apartment, quite big for a 1 bedroom, we were 2 and a lot of space. Very discrete decoration with an Asian touch. All the apartment was very clean.
If we were to talk about one small downside, is as it's a ground floor, there is a little noise but if you close the window then there's no problem.

  • Highly recommended! We stayed at the apartment for 15 days and felt right at home. Chris and Monisha were very prompt in responding when interested which is one reason we chose to stay. It was the same throughout the stay, any doubts were immediately responded to and they were very helpful in leaving a great list of what we may need to know about the apt and where to catch a bite around the neighborhood.

The apartment is beautiful, very clean and organized and very spacious. Very conformable for a couple. Kitchen is fully equipped and there is a washer/dryer available in the building. Location is perfect, very central to West Village and Soho yet the street is very peaceful and quiet. It was a great place to come back home to after a long day of walking to rest.

We would definitely stay again when in the city. It was more than we expected.

  • I really enjoyed my month-long stay at Chris and Monisha's! They were super accommodating, and had everything ready for me with only 3 days notice!

The apartment building is nice and best of all, secure. No noisy neighbors and the AC drowns out the street noise. The unit itself is bright, spacious and comfortable. Great couch, cable TV, AC in the bedroom and the living room. The kitchen has everything needed and more. Was thrilled to have a water tower! The pictures posted truly represent the apartment.

The location can't be beat. A street over from the 1 train and 2 away from the C and E. It was all very easy to figure out. And such a short walk to SoHo where there is a ton of shopping. Safe to walk up past Houston to some bars and restaurants.

I let Monisha and Chris know that the shower head had a very low water pressure and two days later, Chris came over and changed if for me. A brand new shower head - what a difference!

Thank you so much for letting me stay!
