We loved our stay at Leslie's place. Perfect location to walk to the boardwalk or the beach. Lots of easy/cheap metered parking if you prefer to drive over but it is just a few blocks. Cute little coffee shop at the end of the street "Addicted to the Bean" and we had a wonderful dinner at "Almas Tapas" if you want to sit down somewhere a little nicer than the normal beach bar, not stuffy at all though. Our favorite part was checking out the birds and wildlife on the back dock. The beds were super comfortable and plenty of towels/beach towels. Everything you would need for a getaway. Thanks again!
the place has an amazing view and is close to the village with restaurants.
We had a great time in FL, even though it rained apparently more than it had in years, according to a sales clerk. It was lovely working with Leslie and the house was exactly as expected according to the posting. I was mostly looking for a place that felt safe and clean and found both of these at this home. The location could not have been better and we were able to wander right into St. John's Pass to entertain ourselves during the rain. I'd highly recommend staying here on your next visit! Thanks for the hospitality!
Place was exactly as expected. Very clean. A good view of Florida living. We definitely will stay at Leslie's again and recommend to friends and family that will be visiting the area.
The location was perfect for visiting John's Pass! The duplex was on a dead-end street, which means you can have noisy fun at John's Pass, then retreat to peace and quiet. It was only a 7-minute walk to Madeira Beach and you don't have to cross the road to do it, there's a walkway under the bridge.
The place wasn't fancy but it was clean and well-equipped and had more than enough room for the two of us - we could have had another couple with us and been very comfortable. We LOVED having all of the heron visitors! We even hand-fed a couple of them!
Leslie and Alison, her sister who was on hand and doing the cleaning prior to our arrival, were very pleasant and easy to work with. This is an honest listing that receives our recommendation. Thanks!
What an amazing space! My wife and I booked this two bedroom for our parents for two nights and they highly enjoyed enjoyed their stay.
Our hosts were kind enough to pass on some food for us to feed some of our bird guests that would visit on the patio. If you love birds, this is definitely the place to stay.
We didn't get to go fishing but apparently their is a great spot right on the private pier outside the backyard.
The home is spacious and clean. Alison responded to any needs our parents would have had.
Great location near plenty of shopping and the boardwalk. Would love to stay there again in the future!

About the Host, Leslie
Gardening, traveling, fixing up historic houses and canoeing are some of the activities that I enjoy. That is why renting beach houses to wonderful, interesting people from all over the world is so rewarding to me. I love tropical gardens and beach decor, and hope that my visitors feel the same.
