Elisabetta made me very welcome , Had lots of information for me on my arrival , she clearly loves hosting. The room in reality is much nicer than the photo. The location is excellent , and I hope to stay again sometime. Thanks Elisabetta !
Elisabetta was an excellent hostess!!! She really went above and beyond my expectations which made my stay in Cork so great.
When I arrived she provided me with a map of the city and gave me wonderful recommendations on where to find the best fish and chips, pubs, coffee shops, shopping, etc. in town. She also reviewed my itinerary for my days in Cork and marked on the map where the buses were going to be picking me up from and dropping me off, how to get to the train station, etc.
Her place is in an amazing location. Safe neighborhood, and a short 5-10 minute walk down the hill to get to everything. Spacious bedroom with a beautiful view. Everything was very clean. Bathroom is located right beside the bedroom. She had even left a hair dryer for me on the dresser :)
Elisabetta is very accommodating, prompt with all of her communications, and very friendly and sweet. For example, I changed my plans at the last minute to arrive in Cork a few hours before I had initially planned to. On my way to Cork I let her know I would be arriving early, and she was so apologetic that she wouldn't be there when I would arrive (yes, she was very apologetic even though I was the one who changed my plans on her!) and she recommended a fish and chips place/pub to hang out at until she would get home from work and then come meet me at the pub to chat and get to know each other a bit, and then drive us both home!
I definitely recommend staying here. I will absolutely stay here again the next time I am lucky enough to visit Cork.
Very nice place near downtown and the room have a spectacular view on cork. The bed is very comfortable
Grazie mille cara Elisabetta for your so nice welcome. The room offers indeed a breathtaking view of the city and I very much appreciated the quietness and the cleanliness of the place. Thank you for helping me with a lot of local formalities, priceless ! I can but strongly recommend your address !!!
This was a great way to finish my holiday in Ireland. I spent three nights in Eli's house and it was great from the first minute.
She was really helpful with everything, recommendations, places to visit,app...
The house is in a very good location, with great views of the city. Large room, clean and very comfortable.
I would highly recommend this house/room if you're considering going to Cork.
Elisabetta was an absolutely sweetheart. She is so hospitable, gave me stellar recommendations for places to eat/go out, and was really just a pleasure to stay with all around. The room is spectacular; it has a beautiful view overlooking Cork and is just up the road from the city centre. The bathroom was beautiful as well :)
Elisabetta is a lovely person to stay with whilst in Cork City. Her place is very easy to locate, it was fun pushing my heavily laden bicycle up one of the steepest hills in the city. Once again as with all Airbnb hosts my bicycle was made very secure. The room is enormous with magnificent views out a large widow of Cork city and Shandon bells tower. This vista for me brought back strong memories of my first experience of Cork City at the age of 12 years when I first set eyes on the same vista from the top dormitory windows of the boarding school I attended in Cork. The place is within very easy walking distance of all the amenities of the city with two wonderful traditional music venues closeby in Coburg St just to the right at the bottom of the hill. It is a very pleasant bit of climbing exercise to get back to bed afterwards but not in the least onerous. I would 100% recommend Elisabetta's place if you want to visit Cork city. Thank you for a very restful stay Elisabetta.
