About This Listing
Cozy and silent place in the heart of Venice, just in front of the train station Santa Lucia and at 2 minutes fron the bus station Piazzale Roma.
To Have a location close to the bus station or train station, not to be understimated in this city full of bridges and with few means of transport.
This is an area still far from the frenetic tourism, fortunatly, even if it is just a few steps from the train (website hidden) apartment consists of a room, a small kitchena and a bathroom.
You are two minutes walking from a water bus stop, and you can go across the entire channel till San Mark square seeing all the beautiful Venetian palaces in a different perspective of Venice.
If you want you can walk to the Rialto Bridge and Piazza San Marco, it is just 20 minutes, i suggest you not to follow the people, lost in Venice allows you to discover places that otherwise you could never see.
Linens and towels are provided, small breakfast included in price.
I prefer easy-going people in my place!!!

Maurice was great. He was there waiting for us when we arrived and was available via text message on our way there.
The apartment was just OK. Compared to other AirBNBs we have stayed in in Europe, it wasn't as nice and consistent with the ratings. The apartment was a a little dirty compared to how it looks in the photos, the bed was uncomfortable with two tiny lumpy pillows. Also, there was old perishable food in the Fridge. The towels were not good.
However, all things considered in Venice everything seems more expensive and we got what we paid for, a lower end apartment in central Venice. We would not stay here again.
We had a great stay. So close to the station and very secluded with a lovely courtyard. The apartment was a little damp but it didn't bother us. We would definitely stay again.
Maurice and wife are friendly and helpful. Our room was hot at times, Maurice was kind enough to provide us a plug in fan during the summer. The room was so close to the train station. I enjoyeda my stay in Maurice's place.
Great place for the price and for a night before our cruise. We had absolutely no trouble finding the apartment. Definitely recommend!
Maurice and his wife were very accommodating. Our train was over 2 hours delayed so that was frustrating, I am sure. The apartment is perfectly situated for those of you who are directionally challenged like I am. Venice is a nightmare to get lost in but the apartment is so easy to find. At first smell, it is a bit musty but it is to be expected in Venice. It was extremely hot and humid when we arrived so the bedding seemed wet but by the time we got back from exploring the humidity had subsided and it was fine. The shower was very tiny but again, expected. We were there for less than 20 hours and it worked just fine for us. The apartment itself was clean.
Maurice was great and met us at the apartment! He showed us around and was always quick with message replies. The apartment is cozy, exactly what we needed since we didn't plan on spending much time in there - only to sleep. The nights were a bit muggy, and because we didn't want to sleep with the windows open, the air was heavy and made sleeping a bit uncomfortable.
