I had a nice time staying at Raul's loft but I did notice a few things he could change if he wants his place to have The Breaking Band theme. In my opinion, he should add a few things such as: The Breaking Band logo above the bed in the bedroom and a couple face shot paintings, like the ones in the kitchen, on the adjacent wall. Maybe of Saul and Gus . At least that's what I would do if it was my place.
Also, a warning to those who like a bedroom to be pitch black, when sleeping, because there is an open wall space (in bedroom) that prevents complete darkness.
Other than that, the place was great and the location is good. The center of Downtown is just a short walk from the loft.
I did not have any communication with Raul but I must say Jim was very informative when I met him in Austin and answered any questions I had while staying at location.
Raul and Jim were so kind and took us in spontaneously. They both recommended quite a few places for us to see while we were in town. The house is amazing and incredibly gorgeous. Loved that the area was quiet but still central.
My bf and I really enjoyed our stay. Raul was very clear with directions and made us feel at home. The place was clean and cute! Would definitely recommend! Thanks Raul!
Great spacious flat equipped with all necessities. For me location worked out perfectly as I was attending American Clay workshop.
With sudden weather change I was glad that heating system was efficient but wish the apartment was stocked with better choice of bedding. I can't complain as host was very responsive to my request.
Thanks Raul- we had a fantastic time in ABQ. We were on the tour RV the next day and pulled up right outside the casita to see a major shoot location across the street! A huge smile on my son's face :-) wine was great too!
We love traveling to New Mexico and Albuquerque. We had not stayed downtown before, and this was very convenient to the freeways, etc. This would also be great if you were at a convention, which is not far. There was a very important scene from Breaking Bad filmed RIGHT across the street from here - hint it has to do with Combo. The space is really big, bigger than the pics let on, and the kitchen has everything you need and more. We will definitely be back to the Breaking Bad loft!
