Some info has been automatically translated.
The apartment is suitable for 6 adults, and if there are any children, it is possible to accommodate up to 7 people. The apartment is very bright and barrier-free. The location is central, in front of the Tiber, between the Trastevere, Testaccio and Marconi districts; a few minutes' walk from the Pyramid, Circus Maximus, Colosseum and FAO; next to Trastevere station, 26 minutes by train from Fiumicino airport and 6 minutes from San Pietro, with accessible and fast public transport.

The space
The apartment is located on the third floor. It is wheelchair accessible, and there are no architectural barriers in the building or apartment, and the paths are well lit. The size of the elevator is 76cm x 112cm with a 64cm entrance door.

The apartment consists of two bedrooms, a living room with a kitchenette, a bathroom and two terraces. All rooms (except bathroom) are equipped with air conditioning/heat pump. Heating is centralized.

In the larger bedroom there is a king-size bed, a bridge wardrobe, a table, a chest of drawers, a small, closable wall table, and a comfortable armchair. The room is wide. The bathroom is also spacious and without architectural barriers.

In the smaller bedroom there is a one and a half square bed, suitable for two people, a large closet, a large dresser (with a printer on top) and a comfortable armchair with a reading lamp. There's also a bookshelf and a shoe rack.

In the living room, the sofa turns into a large and comfortable double bed.

There is a dining/dinner area with a large table with six chairs and a wall TV. The TV has two HDMI cables (micro and mini) that allow you to connect it to tablets or computers. Next to the table there is a 2.5Gb/s WiFi. The area can be used as a working area or as a cinema and relaxation area.

The kitchen is equipped with pots, pans, plates, glasses, mugs, boiler, Bialetti coffee machine, and microwave. In addition to providing tea bags and coffee capsules, single-dose sugar, salt, and extra virgin olive oil are provided.

The house does not use gas, but only electricity. The plates in the kitchen are electric and heat up very quickly. The water heater contains 80 liters of hot water, an amount that is enough for 6 showers. To avoid finding yourself in the cold water, we recommend avoiding long or excessively hot showers.

In the apartment there are no keys to the doors, the bathroom door is also without a key, but there is a free/occupied indicator.

Wi-Fi is connected to fiber optics and offers maximum speed.

The view is great, the sunsets are magnificent. The apartment is very bright and is particularly warm in winter.

Trastevere Station (a five-minute walk) is the reference for public transport, with urban trains, trams and buses all accessible to wheelchairs.

Guest access
There are two entrances to the building, one with a wheelchair ramp. There are no stairs or barriers in the path to the elevator. The elevator is larger than normal (76cmx112cm with a 64cm entrance door). The routes are well lit and from the elevator to the apartment there are no steps or obstacles. The apartment is suitable for those who use a wheelchair.

Trastevere station (a 5-minute walk from the house) is the reference for metro trains, trams and buses.

From Trastevere station, you can reach Fiumicino airport in 26 minutes by train, San Pietro station in 6 minutes and the Rome Fair in 19 minutes. If your airport is Ciampino, the best connection is by taxi.

Tram 8 connects Trastevere station with Largo Argentina and Piazza Venezia (9 minutes) and tram 3 with the Pyramid, the Circus Maximus, the FAO and the Colosseum (10 minutes).

Other things to note
IMPORTANT: We had some issues with the neighborhood when we hosted families with many children, due to excessive noise. For this reason, in the “Safety of Listing” section, we reported that the house is not suitable for children between 2 and 12 years of age. However, if you have quiet children and the number is limited, you can contact us and we will evaluate the case.

When you check out, leave the keys on the coffee table and simply lock the door.

Rome is a very humid city, and when you use air conditioning/heat pumps, condensation water accumulates in the containers you find on the terraces. When the containers are full, it is necessary to empty them.

The apartment is in an apartment building, so the rules of coexistence must be respected. For example, be quiet between 11:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. and between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., and always avoid making noises or activities that may bother other residents, such as jumping around the house, dancing, singing, etc. If you want to do noisy activities, use outdoor spaces, such as those in front of and along the Tiber.

Trastevere Station does not have a luggage storage room. But a few meters away, at the beginning of Viale Trastevere (at number 309) you can find the Luggage Storage Lock 'n Go.

In the house there is a fast internet connection (fiber optic) and supports for tablets and laptops. This allows you to set up a work area.

Neighborhood highlights

The apartment is in one of the most lively places in Rome with pizzerias, restaurants and nightclubs. Parking is free and accessible, and it is easy to find a place except for Friday and Saturday nights when there is a large influx of people and on Sunday mornings due to Porta Portese, the flea market, which starts a few meters from home. The point of reference for transport is Trastevere station from where, in a few minutes, you can reach the airport, San Pietro and the Rome fair. Trams are fast and accessible and connect with the most central places in the city. The distance from the Pyramid, Circus Maximus and Colosseum is small and it is also possible to venture on foot. Next to the house is the entrance to the "bike path" that crosses all of Rome, and is suitable for walks, jogging and bike rides.
