It was ok but without a Car very anoying!
Our stay with Brenda was very pleasant. We were just there for one night and Brenda treated us very well, and recommended a restaurant to us. The room and shower room were clean and tidy.

An easy, relaxed place to stay with a great view. It is convenient to the city being on a bus route and less than10 minutes if you have a car.
Very nice host，very helpful, we had a very good time!
Good, comfortable room. Brenda was very welcoming & helpful. Thanks very much!
Brenda was very helpful from the start. Communication was excellent whilst we were still in the UK.
The property was further away from the city than we first thought, but it is serviced by 43/44 bus route which stops right outside the door. If you don't mind using public transport then this is not a problem.
On arrival in Wellington, we contacted Brenda who arranged to pick us up from the center of town & even took us back into town later! Which was greatly appreciated.
We stayed in the ground floor room which had its own bathroom next door. The room was clean light & airy, & towels were supplied, which was a nice touch as towels were not mentioned in the listing.
The view from the living room was spectacular overlooking the bay. The main road runs parallel to the property & although we heard a few lorries go past it was not a major issue.
Brenda,s larder cupboard is full of the usual breakfast fare, including toast, cereals, tea & coffee. Overall experience was a good one. Thank you Brenda.
We had a lovely comfortable stay with Brenda, she kindly drove us in to the central city when we went out in the evening to get something to eat and also dropped us at the Interislander ferry terminal in the morning. We should really have kept our hire car for our night in Wellington so as not to cause her the trouble, but it was greatly appreciated. Brenda's apartment is spotlessly clean and very pleasantly appointed. Highly recommended.
Brenda is a very helpful and friendly host. After we arrived she even drove us to the city center and gave us helpful tips. The room was clean and the view was very good. Its a perfect place if you look for an affordable accomondation.
We were looking for a comfortable, "homey" place to stay during our short visit to Wellington, and Brenda & John definitely provided that! Brenda was generous enough to offer to pick us up at the ferry terminal upon arrival. She and John welcomed us warmly, and little Maggie (the dog) was just what we needed to help ease the pain of being away from our own dogs. We sought her out for pats, but she was so quiet you wouldn't even know a dog was there if you didn't look.
We rented both of the rooms in Brenda's condo, and found both to be clean, comfortable, and private. The bathroom was very clean and the water pressure in the shower was great! This was especially appreciated after our three-day kayak trip and ferry ride up from Picton.
I'm sure this isn't part of the regular package, but Brenda even let us do a couple of loads of laundry, as we had more wet clothes than dry after our adventures in the Abel Tasman. This saved us a lot of time and trouble, and we appreciated it more than we can say!
Note that the location is a bit out of town, which was good for our tastes, and the bus stop is only steps away from the front door. A $5 fare gets you into the heart of the CBD. We decided to take a cab back after a delicious dinner at The Ortega Fish Shack (check it out, seriously!) and paid only about $15 from Courtenay Place.... less from the Westpac Stadium after the cricket match. (Go The Blackcaps!)
Last but not least, the views are stunning! Wellington lived up to its nickname during our visit, as the wind really blew, but the views from the lower floor room and the balcony were amazing.
Brenda is a kind and gracious host, and we would be happy to stay with her again.
Brenda has a nice apartment with great views to the harbour. The room is clean and has a comfortable bed. Good choice if you travel to Wellington
