great location, just as described. Doug was very accommodating and made us feel very welcome. was helpful with suggestions of things to do, and made sure we had everything we needed (including setting up bikes for kids, etc). Was super responsive to questions. Would definitely recommend!
Our family had a wonderful time staying at Doug's home in Cutchogue. We were looking for quiet, comfortable accommodations with easy access to all that the North Fork has to offer, and that is exactly what we got. The house is exactly as described in the listing, and totally fit our needs. Despite being minutes away from loads of activities, beach, and food, we actually spent a good deal of our vacation just lounging around the house.
I should mention also, that this place is perfect for families, and Doug offered access to a treasure trove of toys for our kids. They didn't want to leave when the trip was over.
Doug is a gracious host, and immediately attended the few small questions we had during our stay. Thank you again!
We had a good experience overall renting with Doug. The house was as described, there were a lot of amenities and the neighborhood is very nice. Doug was extremely responsive and provided all the information we needed and more. I would definitely recommend this property to others visiting the area.
We stayed at Doug's adorable cottage house for a week prior to Labor Day. Doug is a wonderful host: very attentive to our needs, super thorough in explaining the rules of the house, the surrounding areas and things to do. The house is pretty centrally located: quick bike ride to the beach, lots of vineyards and especially Braun's Seafood (highly recommend). The house is fully stocked with anything you could possibly want. Excellent place for a family with kids. Highly recommend anyone looking for a place to stay and looking forward to a return trip.
