Welcome to the Montana mountain yurt, meticulously designed to blend comfort with the rustic elegance of Montana's wilderness. Nestled against a breathtaking backdrop of snow-capped peaks on 35 acres, this tiny house packs a big punch! You'll have plenty of privacy to relax and unwind whether out on a hike or soaking in the hot tub under the stars! Minutes away to Sage Lodge dining & Chico Hot Springs! 30 min to Yellowstone National Park, 45 min from Bozeman airport, and 50 min to skiing!

The space
Step inside and be enveloped by the warmth of 70-year-old reclaimed Montana barn wood that lines the entire interior. This authentic history creates a stunning contrast with the modern Restoration Hardware furnishings. Expansive windows draw in natural light and frame the staggering mountain views, creating a seamless connection where the splendors of nature can be admired from the warmth of your yurt—complete with a wood-burning stove, authentic bison hides, and a cozy sheepskin rug.

Accommodating up to 6 guests, our mountain yurt features a plush queen-size bed, a comfortable sleeper sofa, and "The Eagle’s Nest"—an elevated sleeping loft accessible by ladder, perfect for kids or an adventurous adult. Top-of-the-line linens beckon restful nights after days of adventure.

The Culinary Suite: Small but mighty. We have outfitted the kitchen for the serious foodie.

• Appliances: SMEG retro refrigerator, electric stove, and vent hood.

• Coffee Program: A Breville Luxe drip maker, Café Espresso machine, French press, and burr grinder (fresh local coffee beans provided).

• Tools: A full set of Wüsthof knives and Weber Spirit Grill on the deck.

The Spa Experience: After exploring Yellowstone or fly-fishing, retreat to the private hot tub and pamper yourself with our complimentary plush robes and slippers. Inside, the bathroom offers unexpected luxuries including a heated towel rack and a premium Toto Bidet with a heated seat.

★ Your Ultimate Yellowstone Basecamp ★
The Mountain Yurt is positioned as your private sanctuary and launchpad for exploring the wonders of the West.

• Proximity & Access: You are just a 30 to 40-minute scenic drive through Paradise Valley to the North Entrance of Yellowstone (Gardiner). This is a critical advantage, as it is the only park entrance open to vehicles year-round.

• Bespoke Guided Adventures: For a truly effortless, five-star experience, we can connect you with our partner guides (biologists and naturalists) for private safari-style tours. Please inquire for booking details.

★ Going to the desert? ★

We have two distinct Joshua Tree sanctuaries — each with its own personality, both 18 minutes from the national park:

🛖 The Mojave Yurt — A 30-ft off-grid wooden yurt under one of America's darkest skies. 150-yr reclaimed beams, Restoration Hardware interiors, cedar spa, 20-ton boulder shower, iPad-controlled deep-space telescope. For couples and families who want architectural quiet.

🌵 Quail Wash Retreat — A boho-styled desert home with a 20-ft star-gazing dome, cedar sauna, cold plunge, and full outdoor wellness compound. For groups (sleeps 8) who want spa-level restoration.

Both retain our same astronomically high standards of excellence.

My work: Host - Land And Stay
Emma and I build and host hand-crafted sanctuaries — two in Montana's Paradise Valley, both featured in Condé Nast, and two in the Joshua Tree desert, including our newest: a 30-foot off-grid yurt. Several years of hosting and 400+ five-star reviews have taught us one thing: luxury is obsession over details — 150-year-old reclaimed wood, the right espresso machine, a reply to your message within the hour. We build places we'd want to wake up in, and we look after the people who stay in them.
