Why stay in Detroit when you can stay in Fabulous and Fashionable Ferndale?? Ferndale is home to many great restaurants, bars, retail and coffee shops, yoga studios, galleries and parks, all which are a 5 minute walk from my duplex a few blocks away.

Interaction with Guests
I usually don't bother the guests unless they take the initiative. Many people come on vacation or a weekend get-away and prefer to be on their own. I am happy to chat for awhile, show you the neighborhood or have a glass of wine. Just ask!
Ferndale is a mix of everything you want in a neighborhood: quiet residential streets, a trendy downtown shopping and dining scene, bustling nightlife and easy access to Detroit and surrounding suburbs.
One block from Woodward bus.
Other Things to Note
Please inquire about children. If I have a big work week and/or performance schedule, then I might prefer adults only. I've learned that kids are MUCH noisier than adults!
When noting the number of guests, any human being who can walk = 1 person.
I cannot accept a reservation request from someone with a blank profile. Please provide a few words about yourself, picture, etc. This apartment is more of a home than a hotel, so I like to know who I'm renting to!
Because I also like to entertain in this space, I am firm on the 28 day maximum stay. I prefer small pets only, but it never hurts to inquire!
- CHECK IN/OUT: Check-in is at 3pm and check-out is at 12pm. Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request. Same-day reservations may be subject to a later check-in time depending on host’s schedule.

Shannon and her home were great! She was very flexible accommodating my arrival after travel delays. The neighborhood and location are great and central to many Metro Detroit attractions. I would definitely stay again!
Clean, comfortable, safe and affordable! I love AirBnB. Thanks for having me in your home , Shannon!
This home looked just like the photos in the listing: lovely, in a great location and perfect for our holiday stay. Shannon was a great host and provided us with fresh towels and linens. Comfortable tempurpedic style mattress too. We would definitely stay again.
Great location and experience. Shannon was readily available, helpful, and attentive. I'd describe the place as a home away from home. Would definitely stay there again.
The reservation was canceled 26 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
My sons and I had a great time staying at Shannon's house it was just perfect for us.
This was our first experience using Airbnb and it went as well as could be expected considering we were making arrangements from half way around the world! Shannon was very quick to respond with any questions and accepting changes when we had to cut our trip short by one day.
The apartment was just exactly perfect for what we needed. The space was open, with great lighting. Furniture was really nice and the beds were super comfortable! It rained a bit while we were there so we weren't really able to enjoy the back yard hangout area, but it looked like the perfect area to relax with a glass of wine or a cold beer. The neighborhood was very quiet, with nice tree-lined streets to walk around. Close to many different restaurants/shops/bars, etc.
We were visiting friends in the area and if we make it back that way again, we would definitely look to book Shannon's place for our visit.
