Our apartment is the crown jewel of Palais Windisch-Graetz, once home to Elisabeth of Austria, the daughter of Crown Prince Rudolf of Austria. Immerse yourself in the imperial ambiance of Vienna's embassy district, where history meets elegance.
Prime Location:
Situated between Rennweg and Strohgasse, our apartment is nestled among some of Vienna’s most prominent embassies, including those of Germany, the UK, Italy, China, and Russia. This area is not only beautiful, quiet, and secure, but it also offers the convenience of being within walking distance to downtown Vienna. Iconic landmarks like the Belvedere Palace and Stadtpark are just a stone’s throw away, with restaurants, supermarkets, and pharmacies all within easy reach.
Apartment Layout:
Spanning over 220 sqm, our apartment boasts 5 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and a spectacular living room that features a unique hand-painted masterpiece by Stefan Riedl, a renowned European stage painter. With high ceilings of over 5 meters and an elevator that opens directly into the apartment, the living space is both impressive and inviting. Enjoy the balcony (perfect for smokers), an open real fireplace, and architecture that highlights the best of Vienna’s charm. High-speed Wi-Fi and digital TV are provided, ensuring you can unwind with a cozy night in after a day of exploring. Fresh, clean towels and bed linens are always available, as we prioritize absolute hygiene and cleanliness as a standard.

This romantic apartment is situated in Vienna’s embassy quarter, one of the city’s finest, safest, and quietest areas. It offers unparalleled convenience, whether you’re arriving by car or public transport, and is ideally located for exploring Vienna’s most famous attractions. From the Hofburg to the Opera House, Musikverein, Stephansplatz, and Ringstraße, all are within a 5 to 15-minute walk. The Belvedere Palace, a former residence of Prince Eugene, is practically next door.
For easy access to the city, the local Tram 71 stops at Rennweg, while the U4 underground line at “STADTPARK” is just a 10-minute walk away, offering direct connections to Schönbrunn Palace, the Gloriette, and the Tiergarten Schönbrunn.

Other things to note
Parking: for those coming by car. Vienna has strict inner city parking rules and you need to fill out parking slips every 2 hours unless you are a resident. There is an app but you need a local number. So for those who do not have a local number you need to go to the "Trafik" and buy parking slips. In our area its Monday-Friday 9am-10pm!
Therefore we suggest you park your car in a garage as fines are heavy.
