  • very Nice house with a beautiful deck in the back of the house giving a great view to the garden. The room is large and the bed is very confortable. Patrick is a very kind person who you want to spend Time to discuss about Life. I spent a quite moment sharing stories with an adorable person.

  • Patrick has an AWESOME HOUSE!
Very comfortable, relaxing with lots of space.
Patrick had everything we needed from water upon arriving, fresh towels, a bedroom suited for a king and a fresh cup of French press coffee in the morning.
I can see why his previous guests just raved about their stay.
What a truly wonderful host, beautiful home and beyond comfortable stay.
    Will absolutely be back!

  • Our stay was very quick - - Despite our quick schedule, Mr. Patrick was so gracious. He is a kind man with a lovely home! We enjoyed his quirky furnishings and good conversation. Definitely recommend for anyone traveling and looking for a comfortable place to stay with a great host!

  • The accommodations at House in the Heart were very nice. Homey. Comfortable. Friendly. Patrick went out of his way to provide not only a clean and cozy room, he offered up stunningly delicious Southern grub one evening fit for Arkansas royalty. His sumptuous spread made the trip to Little Rock most special.

The only drawback was the shared bathroom causing a momentary scheduling conflict in the early morning hours. More to be embraced than trifled over. After all, sharing a home is sharing one's life!

I often travel to Little Rock and would hope to stay at House in the Heart again. It was a lovely experience.

  • Our second stay with Patrick in his lovely home! He is such a comfortable host.

We had the "porch" room this time (room right off the back porch), and it was awesome. It rained torrents last night and the wind and rain on the metal porch roof was fantastic. The wooded area behind his house, the rain on the leaves, it was like being in a rainforest.

What a great experience! We hope to stay with Patrick the next time we pass through Little Rock.

  • First, we had no idea Little Rock is such a beautiful and quaint city! It's lovely! We had dinner at a fabulous restaurant called The House, and breakfast at the very cool Community Bakery.

Then, there is Patrick's home...Splendid accommodations! The bed was comfortable, the decor is modern, eclectic, comfortable, inviting. It's obvious that everything in the house was chosen and placed with great personal care and attention. It felt like home the moment we walked in.

Finally, we enjoyed Patrick's company the most during our Little Rock visit. He is warm and funny and generous the way the best hosts should be. We had great laughs and deep discussions with him all in the same evening.

We travel often through Little Rock, and we will stay with Patrick every chance we get. It was a delightful experience!

This was our FIRST AirBnB experience, and we will have many more.

    Thanks, Patrick! And thanks, AirBnB!

Retired musician and artist. My wife and companion of twenty-two years died in 2009, after a five-year battle with cancer. After that, our old dog died and I was cut loose to travel. I began to roam our country, coast-to-coast visiting friends and family members. Terry & I enjoyed traveling in her business, a successful commercial real estate appraiser. We made a great team. I miss her. All my life I've traveled the US, coast to coast several times, Vancouver to Key West, San Diego to Portland ME - several times in the past few years. But have yet to see the Dakota badlands. I surmise that will be some future trip. I've lived in New York City, Frankfurt Germany, Charlottesville VA, San Francisco and returned to where I grew up - Little Rock - in 1971. Had my own graphics business here for almost thirty years, and spent the remainder of my business career working with my wife, Terry, in her very successful commercial appraisal business, until she passed. I've enjoyed having the occasional Airbnb guest, all of whom have been good people. I enjoy driving and will probably travel a good deal more. I don't (website hidden) and (website hidden) does not appeal to me - I use my time in other ways and prefer email and the phone to social internet entanglements.
