The Space

The apartment is part of a three storey villa built at the beginning of the twentieth century, completely remodeled and refurbished.
It's on the second floor and measures 110 square metres, plus another 50 square metres of panoramic terrace, overlooking the sea and the mountains.
It has three bedrooms (the third one doesn't appear in the pictures but it's exactly as spacious as the other two, has been refurbished just weeks ago and has, just like the others, a window overlooking the sea).
The living room has a small fireplace and opens on the terrace, where you can enjoy the breeze or sunbathe, or just have a lovely dinner under the veranda (it opens and closes by an electrical engine, thus saving precious energy for opening and closing it).
Smoking is allowed, just please not inside the property: you can enjoy your tobacco (as we do) on the terrace.
The kitchen has been completely refurbished in the summer of 2012 with brand new items such gas range and oven, dishwasher, refrigerator.

Check-in and check-out times are flexible. Just let us know your preferences, and we will work something out to let you check-in or check-out at your desired time, whenever possible.

In case you are a large group (more than 6 people), we also offer another flat in the same building (third floor) that can host up to 4 people. So, we can provide accomodation to groups up to 10 people.

  • The place is very conveniently located close to Trastevere train station, which is perfect if you are coming or leaving from Fiumicino airport given that there is a direct train to there.
Also, it is a few steps from a stop of tram 8 which will lead you to Piazza Venezia (right in the center of Rome) in a breeze, and which is very reliable and very frequent (contrarily to the buses). The same tram first passes through the popular Trastevere district.
The neighborhood is perfect, lively with everything you may need within a few meters: supermarkets, veggie shops, pizza places, restaurants, post offices, gas stations, newsstands, pharmacies.
The room itself is nice, a little small but with big bed for two. It has its own bathroom (which is a great plus) and a lot of closet space. The house is very spacious, and the living room is just fantastic: wide, well decorated and very cosy. Also, the place is very clean and the people living in very quiet and friendly. Downside is the noise of cars passing by, but that is difficult to avoid in Rome!

  • A very clean and pleasant house. There is a great fruit and veg store nearby, and a very good restaurant a block up. The only downside was that the supermarket below was doing deliveries at 5am early Tuesday morning, but things were fine the other days. The host was very friendly and helpful. A 15 minute bus ride or 30-40 minute walk into the heart of rome. 20 minutes walk from a spectacular view from the monument to Garibaldi.

  • This is a terrific apartment for any stay in Rome. We were greeted by the lovely Emiliano and were provided a tour of the apartment as well as a run down on where to eat and drink.
The apartment is located within walking distance from the Vatican and conveniently has a supermarket and fruit and vegetable store located downstairs. The apartment is very spacious and bright, catching the afternoon sun. It's very clean and comfortable and is well equipped if you intend on cooking!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would be happy to recommend this apartment!

  • We came for a friends wedding and had a perfect weekend in Rome in Emanuela's apartment. Emanuela and Emiliano were great hosts before and during our stay, especially as our arrival date changed shortly before arrival and they kindly adapted the booking. Emiliano was very welcoming and provided us with all necessary information, maps, umbrellas...
The apartment is very well located, clean and comfortable. It accommodates 4 easily, we were 4 friends all weekend and had a wonderful time!

  • Probably the best location in Rome that you can find. Very near with train station, supermarket, restaurant and walking distance to Vatican City. Emiliano was so helpful and responsive. He gave us guides to the city and even taught us how to make Italian coffee. Two thumbs up! A very quiet place to really rest and sleep at night too.

  • We stayed for few days in Rome and had a warm welcome by Emiliano who explained everything to us and who was very helpful. The flat was nice with a huge terrace and is perfect located to discover Rome - a supermarket next to the flat, well connected to public transports and the Vatican in walking distance right around the corner. We like the area a lot and had a good time :)

  • The place was ideal, it was located right near Vatican City. It takes about a 20-30 minute walk to hit the centre of the city and we enjoy walking. The place is quiet to have relaxing sleep, and the host was very quick to reply and help with any issues. They even came over to bring me an iron as my clothes were wrinkled. I certainly recommend these hosts for your stay in Rome.

  • The flat was exactly what we needed for our Roman vacation. It was easily accessible by walking, training or public transport. It felt very safe and was with in a 20 minute walk of non-touristy restaurants and neighborhoods. It is a five minute walk to the Vatican and an easy stroll to town. We never took a cab to or from the flat because of this feature!

The flat itself is nice and in a quiet building. We enjoyed it tremendously and the price can not be beat.

  • Emanuela and Emiliano were great. Emanuela answered promptly my emails and was very specific about details before arrival. Arriving at the flat, Emiliano was a great host who gave us all the information needed, maps, guides, even umbrellas in case we need them... the flat was very clean and comfortable. We could cook breakfast every day, and we had coffee, sugar and tea available for us to use. The place is great, very close to St. Peter square but at the same time, away from the noise of a touristic area (great at night, not noise to sleep after a hard day walking around Rome), near public transportation, and there are a couple of good restaurants a small supermarket and a fruit shop near by. I will definitely come back and stay there again! Thanks Emiliano!

  • I have stayed for 19 nights in this very comfortable apartment which was near the shops and the San Pietro train station. Emanuela, the owner and Emiliano, the caretaker were nice and courteous hosts. For instance, the bedroom heater was out of order, but they had it fixed and the heat was afterwards more than adequate. A mini-supermarket was downstairs in the same building, which made it very convenient. The apartment is also near 6 coffee bars, a trattoria, several restaurants and 4 pizzerias. It's only 6 minutes walk from St Peter Square and 10 minutes from the Vatican Museum.

Open-minded, curious and nice person. I deeply love cinema, books and cooking for friends, but everything means nothing without music. I also love travel and meet people from other countries.
