  • Wonderful host..!! We enjoyed staying at her lovely house and once again she was the most friendly host ever. We thank you and we will visit you again in the summer

  • Very sweet and thoughtful host. Teresa made wonderful healthy breakfasts daily. The lower level space is a great place for small groups to even a couple like myself. The fireplace is such a wonderful addition and really makes the end of a ski day great. Would definitely stay here again, hopefully in the summer to make use of her close proximity to the beach!

  • Teresa was a great host, very respectful of our privacy but also very willing to talk with us over breakfast about some really incredible life experiences she's had. The lower level where we stayed is extremely nice, fully equipped with an entertainment system and a fireplace that keeps the temperature quite toasty (when required). I would strongly recommend Teresa and her property to anyone looking to stay in Tahoe!

  • A high school friend and I wanted to visit Tahoe off season and found Teresa's lovely B and B on airbnb. We were not skiing but relaxing together so the downstairs of her home was perfect. We had privacy and a quiet, clean enviroment and to top it off a lovely breakfast each morning. Teresa was a very receptive and attentive host and I feel she matched herself to us ( and would to other guests) as to how much interaction we had with her. The beds were very comfortable and clean and she provided many tour books and had suggestions should we need any.
I would stay here again in a heartbeat. I don't think you could find the service and space for the value in any nearby hotel.
We also liked the north side of the lake. Some would say not as much going on but we enjoyed the spa at the Hyatt and walking along the lake shore checking out the houses.
I would recommend her highly as a welcoming respite from the "real world". Thanks Teresa!!

  • We stayed at Teresa's place for a wedding this past weekend at the Hyatt hotel. It was a great place! The location was just a five minute drive to the hotel, it was a short walk to the beach, and short drive/walk to restaurants. Teresa's place was clean, cozy, and comfortable. Teresa was an awesome and helpful host. We were looking for last minute items prior to the wedding, she started making calls to help us find a place we were looking for. Great place, great price!

  • What can we say that hasn't been said in previous reviews.
Teresa is a complete delight and we were treated like a member of the familly.
Her advice for activities, meals and places to visit was great together with the bikes, maps and guides that were available for us to use.we thoroughly enjoyed the delicious breakfasts and the chats with Teresa.
Incline village was very pleasant and we recommend the mountain biking that is easily reached from the accomodation.
We have no hesitation in recommending this apartment and Teresa and if you are new to the area or especially the USA then you will have a fab time here.

    Response from Teresa:

I'd love to know how the rest of your trip went before you returned to U.K. Happy biking, Teresa

  • Teresa was a wonderful host! Her house is very nice and cozy. The downstairs area is very big and everything was clean and ready for us. Teresa also made us breakfast every morning, which was very convenient! I would definitely stay here again.

  • This was our well-appointed private 2-bedroom suite in a quiet Incline neighborhood. Teresa is a gracious host and provides a very enjoyable breakfast. Her home has many oriental touches and gorgeous photographs. On top of it all, passes for beach access and beach towels are included. Teresa's home is one of the hidden treasures of Incline Village. Very good price-quality equation. Definitely recommended!

  • We stayed in Teresa's home the week after labor day when there were issues with air quality in Lake Tahoe due to fires near Yosemite. Teresa very kindly offered to let us cancel the reservation, but we decided to go ahead with our trip anyway and we're glad we did. Teresa was a wonderful host -- friendly and inviting but also extremely respectful of our privacy. She prepared a delicious breakfast every morning and was great with our 1 year old son. She even babysat for us on our final night, as she wanted us to enjoy a night out! Teresa's home is beautiful and immaculately clean, and the lower level was extremely comfortable and quiet. I highly recommend staying here!

  • First off when we use Airbnb we make our reservations far in advance. In this particular case, this was not so. We messaged Teresa the same night we planned on arriving. She forewarned us about the bad air quality upfront that weekend because of the Yosemite rim fire which we were unaware of. She worked with us all the way up until bedtime, which at that point we declined to spend the night there. However, the following morning we booked our stay and were extremely happy we did. Teresa has a lovely home and she was a great host. The breakfast choices she provided us with were more than we could've asked for.  It was nice to be able to walk down to the beaches and Teresa was kind enough to offer her pass. We did enjoy our stay even though it was pretty smoky some days, we're glad we decided to stay there. We'd love to stay again some time!!

About
My husband, son, and I moved to Incline Village in 1979, trading So Cal beaches for the mountains. We were attracted to small town life style, skiing, air quality, and four seasons. We always loved entertaining and have hosted not only our own guests, but several foreign exchange students and special guests from the University of Nevada hosting program. My passions are travel, healthy food and exercise, theater, foreign films, and painting.
