  • I had five girls in my group and everyone loved Richards place! The apartment building itself is beautiful and I loved the rooftop seating area. The room itself is very spacious and super convenient with two full bathrooms. Everything you need is there and the wrap around window view of the apartment is a sight to see during the day and at night! The location was great too.. Everything was at most 10 minutes away and we jut used the uber app to get around NYC which was way easier than catching a cab. It's also two blocks from a really busy street with lots of restaurants. I think it may have been 9th street.

  • We, 2 couples, have just spent 8 nights in March at Richard's apartment.
The building and apartment were very warm and comfortable. The apartment was everything we had hoped for and we had a view of the Empire State Building from the lounge room window and the roof top views were fantastic.
Easy walking distance to Times Square and Broadway, or in the other direction to the piers for the Intrepid Museum or Circle Line Ferries.
We caught the occasional taxi if we were in a hurry or travelling further but they were inexpensive and readily available. Some good take aways and restaurants just round the corner too and a shop on the corner where we able to buy groceries.

  • Richard's apartment is great. Very close to Times Square and Central Park. It's also clean, modern and very big. The view from the roof is gorgeous!

  • Richard's apartment was perfect for our needs. With 2 bedrooms & 2 baths, the setup was ideal for 3 work colleagues to live/work together for 5 nights. We look forward to using the apartment again in the future. Richard and his friend, Grace, made sure that all of our expectations were exceeded!
Location is convenient to some excellent restaurants, too.

  • My friends and I stayed in Richards place and loved every minute of it!! The place was super clean and comfortable. Plus those views from all rooms of the place where amazing!! There is not a single bad thing I can say about the place!!

The location was also great! It was close to Times Square, Central Park, 5th Ave, and Rockafellar Center. Our trip was during the latest storm and we where still able to walk to those areas with no real issues! Hell's Kitchen has become one of my favorite areas of the city! The local bars, restaurants, and shops where great with out being to "touristy". It really gave me a feeling of being a local New Yorker for a bit!!

Overall, both Richard and Grace where great hosts! Always got back to me quickly with any questions I had! I would definitely go back to Richards place and have already recommended it to other friends of mine! Thanks Richard and Grace!!

  • This is our first time using airbnb. Richard has definitely made this experience a super easy and smooth one! His apartment is just like the descriptions and pictures - modern, spacious, and clean! Great location too!!! Most importantly, he is very responsive and helped us with all our requests before and after we arrived! Next time we are in NY, would definitely come back again if it's available!!!

  • We were happy with the apartment since it was clean and stocked with enough kitchen equipment to cook breakfast. We had a problem with the toilet, and when we returned after a day touring, it had been repaired.

We were also able to walk from it for many sites in New York or take two different subways within two long blocks.

We loved the restaurant just around the corner on 51 St., il Melograno. Richard suggested it late the first day we were in the apartment, but we had already found it, and we decided to eat there twice. It is small so reservations would be a good idea.

I highly recommend Richard's apartment because he always responded immediately to my questions from the time I first asked for information until we ended our visit, and Grace, the person who met us at the apartment, was available as well.

  • The apartment was very clean and spacious, our group of four adults felt very much at home. The view took our breath away every time we walked in the door. There is a great gym in the building and its not too far from the subway. There are heaps of great restaurants nearby as well as a grocery store. Richard was a great host, he was always easy to contact and any issues we had were dealt with immediately. We highly recommend staying here!

  • The apartment was a fantastic base for us (2 couples) to explore manhattan. Richard was a great host, always communicative and fast to respond to questions. The apartment is somewhat sparsely furnished but is modern, clean and very comfortable. Great views from the rooftop! Highly recommended.
