We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the cottage. The ants were a little bit of a nuisance, but we were careful about leaving food out so they didn't get in our way too much. The cottage is also a little more rustic and less secluded than the pictures/description made it seem. None the less, we were very comfortable, loved the natural light, and the place was clean, quiet, and fully equipped. I just had unplanned surgery a few weeks ago, so it was great to have somewhere to return to frequently to rest and make my own meals. Getting around, especially downtown, was a breeze from the location. I highly recommend this place!
Had a wonderful experience in this little cabin! Came equipped with anything you might need which was very helpful. The cabin was extremely clean and well put together. The bed was comfortable as well as the pull out couch! We will definitely come again and we recommend to anyone planning their next trip to portland!
The carekeeper was extremely helpful and sweet (ps thanks for the sugar!) and her dog was a treat to come home to every night.
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. This cottage was perfect for our stay in Portland. Great natural light and comfy bed!! It felt very private and had everything we needed. To get into other neighborhoods of Portland, we walked, took the bus, or used uber... and for us that was great. Great space for a great price. We would use it again, when in PDX again :)
The cottage was exactly as described! A great space that was kept cool very easily! Quiet and private - Amanda was there to greet us, and recommend some great parks and swimming spots for us with our dog. The cottage was a short drive to downtown. We would consider staying here again!
We had a wonderful stay in Portland! The cottage was so cute and clean and the location was perfect for exploring the city. It was a HOT weekend that we were there, but fans were provided, and we stayed nice and cool. We would recommend this cottage to anyone!
The backyard cottage was sweet and charming, and looked exactly like the photos. Upon arrival, everything was clean and neat. The caretaker of the property, Amanda, was very warm, sweet, and welcoming, and took care of all our needs, including cleaning up swarms of ants. After three days in the cottage (of a booked 7), my father and I changed our reservation due to the ant problem (which was not noted anywhere on the listing-and, I should add, it was not a typical few seasonal ants) and Noah refunded us two days (after a somewhat heated debate over the matter). However, as nice a property as this is, the ant issue made if feel a bit dirty and they went into food, into beds.. everywhere, which wasn't ideal. I might stay here again if Noah spoke with consideration to his guests and acted respectful. In my opinion and experience, I found him to be condescending and perhaps not very familiar with customer service standards.
My husband and I very much enjoyed our time at Noah's cottage in Portland. It was very clean, quiet, and perfectly furnished with a comfy bed, nice linens (robes!), plenty of seating, and well-appointed kitchen. Bonus, the small private patio off the bedroom was a lovely place to relax after spending the day exploring Portland. Hope to visit again soon.
