The cottage is in North Portland's Piedmont neighborhood. The neighborhood has a lot of Portland authenticity. Great restaurants are markets are within about a 15-minute walk.
The cottage is located near major bus lines and zip car stations. Off-street parking is available.
Make yourself at home at our private cottage, but please take your shoes off. Please clean and dry off paws before entering. Walk dogs along the sidewalks to nearby parks; the adjacent home's backyard is not available to guests' dogs.
My husband and I stayed at Noah's cottage 4 nights. It is located in a nice neighborhood 6 blocks from our daughters new home. The cottage was easy to find. There is plenty of room and the space was clean and stocked with extras (coffee, shampoo, soap). The dog that lives in the main house is quite and friendly. If you want to pet him, he will happily lean in for a scratch. We will probably book again on our next trip to Portland. We did not see an ant. Thanks Noah.
Nice stay. Bed and pillows soft, clean, and comfortable. Alberta and Mississippi within driving distance for nice shops and restaurants. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our 7 night stay and would recommend it for any couple wanting a good hub to explore Portland and its nearby areas.
Had a good stay in PDX. The apartment was clean, easy to access, and reflected the communications in advance. It was abnormally warm in Portland and the apt lacked air conditioning and a good cross wind. Fans were provided, but it was still a little warm.
Very cute place! It had everything I needed, and it was nice and clean and quiet. Two thumbs up!
The cottage was the perfect place for us to feel like home in Portland. It was clean and comfortable. We did have some ants, as stated in the description, but it wasn't nearly as awful as I imagined it would be. You do have to ensure you keep food in the fridge at ALL times. We left food out for a couple minutes and saw ants already crawling on the dining table. The only gripe about this place would be that a microwave would be a nice touch. There is also no air conditioning, as with all other houses in the neighborhood, so be wary of the weather when booking because we came during the heatwave so even with fans, it was a little difficult to sleep at night. Overall, I would recommend this place!
Everything was just as we expected. The location was great and the neighborhood was quiet and relaxing. We were very comfortable, most of the time.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the cottage. The ants were a little bit of a nuisance, but we were careful about leaving food out so they didn't get in our way too much. The cottage is also a little more rustic and less secluded than the pictures/description made it seem. None the less, we were very comfortable, loved the natural light, and the place was clean, quiet, and fully equipped. I just had unplanned surgery a few weeks ago, so it was great to have somewhere to return to frequently to rest and make my own meals. Getting around, especially downtown, was a breeze from the location. I highly recommend this place!
