Great location in central town of Woodstock and very comfortable amenities. Heating controlled centrally so had to rely on hosts to control it but was happy with their availability. Bathroom facilities are shared with other suite but wasn't a problem. Also very near the bus stop so was very easy to find. Thoroughly enjoyable trip!
This is an absolutely lovely room and respite. My boyfriend and I stayed here after driving several hours. We got in late, had a cup of tea, and fell right to sleep int he dreamy cloud-like bed. Our hosts were not home, but coordination and entry were a cinch. (Special thanks to Richard for all your help over the phone!) The house is centrally located but feels private and quiet. We walked over to Bread Alone for breakfast and were on our way. Thanks Cory and Richard!
A very quick trip to Woodstock. We found Cory's place and it is in the perfect location in a beautiful home just off the green. Perfect if you want to walk around town. The room was very cozy with a very comfortable bed. The only downside which we seemed to miss when we booked was the shared bathroom. But to be honest this wasn't really an issue for one night.
Richard, Cory's partner greeted us and was very friendly. He gave us good advice about local restaurants and walks. The room was beautiful and bed was very comfortable. The room and bathroom were immaculately clean and the location couldn't have been better.
Very charming place, convenient downtown location, but quite private. Perfect for us, in many respects.
Appreciated host's cooperation re my unusual schedule. That said, it WAS somewhat frustrating attempting to communicate more quickly, on a few occasions when necessary.
Also, parking issues are a bit complex, and offsite. No biggie, but would have appreciated knowing those issues a bit earlier, rather than after we committed to our room.
Anyway, we enjoyed our stay.
The proprietor Richard welcomed us on arrival and let us know that he was just a phone call away should we need anything (we didn't). Very well located and comfortable accommodations. Guests (there are two rooms) have their own entrance and can come and go without disturbing the rest of the house.
Our room was roomy and had a very comfortable bed. The only (very small) detractor is that there is no on-premises parking, but all-day town parking is only a block away.
We look forward to staying here again the next time we're in the area.

I am a yoga teacher, herbalist, and a locavore foodie. I live in Woodstock with my husband and young daughter. We renovated our home 3 years ago and enjoy scouring the country for vintage furniture. We appreciate hosting other laid back friendly people in our home.
