The Space

Tastefully decorated and well equipped, our large attic studio (with air conditioned) is composed of a loft bedroom, a living room with sofa bed, a kitchenette and a separate bathroom.

The equipment is complete:
-IPod and IPhone docking station;
- Washing and drying machine;
-Electric kettle (and an assortment of teas) ;
-Nespresso machine (and an assortment of capsules);

And all you need to cooking ...

A babybed and a highchair can also be provided to you.
All linen and towels (even beach sheets) are provided (washed and ironed for each newcomer). I provide also a parasol and an umbrella (for the few rainy days...), a few books and my own guidebook about Nice written for you. To help you organize your stay, you will also have full documentation and events and tips being in the city and its surroundings.

Fully renovated in spring 2013, it is ideally situated 200m from the Place Massena and the main street of Nice (and tram), 400m from the old town, the Promenade des Anglais and the beach. Many prestigious shops are installed in the street and the pedestrian street, just behind, offers a wide range of restaurants (from the snack at the Michelin-starred).

Several parking (fee) are nearby, and a few steps, you will find all the bus lines that you might need.

Finally, we will gladly put you in touch with various service (cook Provencal at home, masseuse at home, tours of the city or the surrounding area, etc.) to make your stay enjoyable and memorable ...

From the airport, you can take a direct bus # 98 (direction Riquier) from the terminal 1 (the ticket costs € 6) and get off at Gustave V. Bypass the outdoor theater to the left (with your back to the sea) and then take the rue de Paradis to its intersection with the rue de la Liberté.
Finally, you can also take a taxi which will cost you between 15 and 20 €, but so much more comfortable!

Since the Nice Ville train station, take the tram at the stop "Gare Thiers" (direction Hôpital Pasteur). 2 stops later, get (email hidden)." Exit to the right and after a few steps, turn left onto Liberty. Walk 300 meters to No. 20.
You can also walk this route (along the tram by Jean Médecin Avenue). It will take 15 minutes.

  • This apartment was perfect for exploring Nice. The apartment is even more bright and clean than it appears in the photos, and I felt very comfortable. The location is perfect for exploring Nice, with many wonderful restaurants nearby. In case you take leave of your senses and decide to cook for yourself (in France WHY?), you have all the amenities you need.

    Nicolas was very helpful. He has made a book of Nice, which is beautifully made and very helpful. There's nothing more encouraging when visiting a new place to meet people who love their city.

    I was in fact staying in Nice for a conference at the Acropolis. This apartment is ~25 minute walk, which is very pleasant, or an easy 10 minute tram ride. If you are visiting Nice for a conference, I would strongly suggest staying here too.

    Many thanks Nicolas for being such an excellent host and sharing your lovely home.

  • Nicolas is a fantastic host, who made my experience in Nice very enjoyable.

    The apartment is in a great area, very central, safe, and short walks to all main attractions, and only about 5 minutes to the beach.

    Great restaurants, boulangeries and other treats are just on adjacent streets, and it is super easy to get to the apartment directly from the train station, a tram stops only about 300m from Nicolas' front door!

    The apartment itself was beautifully presented, exactly as per the photos, very clean and well equipped. Nicolas has even written a guide book with personalised recommendations of things to do and see in Nice, and the recommendations I tried were brilliant!

    I can't say enough great things about the apartment and the host, thanks again for having me Nicolas, it was sad to say goodbye to Nice!

  • Awesome host who met us punctually and also kindly helped us with our very have luggage (Thanks Nico!). I am particular about toilets and cleanliness in general and the place was very good in these aspects. Heck, it was actually great in every aspect! The place was most importantly, secure and we are very near both the shopping stretch, the beach and Old Town - 10 min walk at most? The washing machine was handy, and we had fresh clothes and towels because of it. Nico provided us with washing necessities (detergent and what-not) so we didn't have a hard time figuring out what to use. The steps to the bed on the mezzanine may be slightly challenging for older folks but really, it's not consequential if you consider the other many pluses to the place. Also, there's actually a lot of headroom (we've stayed in others much worse than this) on the mezzanine floor and a little sky window where you get to count stars (or see the sky) at night- Will definitely recommend it to anyone!

  • I was sad to leave Nice, in the end, thanks to the combination of location, amenities, and Nicolas' gracious hospitality. This space is a gem. Air conditioned, with wi-fi. Walking distance from many of Nizza's newest and hippest restaurant additions, as well as the classic must-sees. Nicolas gives you every tool available to make navigating your stay easy as pie. I look forward to another visit.

  • We stayed 2 nights in Nice, the flat is clean, well equipped, the space is enough for 2 people. The location is perfect, there are some restaurants, supermarkets and stores around there, 10min walk to train station, 5min walk to tram station and beach.
    Nicolas is really a good guy, he even found me on the street before i found the flat. He showed us around the flat, tell everything we need in Nice, he even print a guide book for guests and prepare a bottle of wine for us. 100% recommended.

  • Thank you, Nicolas, for letting us stay in your apartment. You were very organised, accommodating, approachable and welcoming.

    For all those considering this apartment - its situation is ideal on a quiet shopping street but also so close to a hub of restaurants and shops on the street parallel. The Promenade des Anglais and the old town are both very short walks away.

    The apartment was very clean, everything worked and the sofa bed was comfy. I would recommend this apartment to others as the apartment itself was lovely and in my opinion was situated in the perfect location. Nicolas was very organised, genuine and accommodating providing a useful guidebook full of his own recommendations for a variety of amenities, shops and restaurants in Nice, which was useful! Thanks again.

  • We had a really wonderful stay in Nice! My partner and I have never used airbnb before so were a little intrepid but we had nothing to worry about as Nicholas and his apartment were absolutely fantastic!
    Nicholas is a brilliant host. He was extremely helpful and hospitable and made us feel really at home.
    The apartment is lovely and suited us perfectly as it was close to the sea, old town and train station. We will definitely stay again! Many thanks for looking after us Nicholas!

Après un tour du monde en voiture et bateau de 2 ans et une cinquantaine de pays traversés, c'est à Nice que j'ai choisi de poser mes bagages. Pour moi, ce n'est pas anodin, et je serais ravi de vous rencontrer!... After a trip all around the world by car and boat during two years and fifty countries crossed, it's at Nice that I decided to put my luggage. To me, it is not trivial, and I'd love to meet you! ...
