Everything was perfect: location, house and the owners. They were always ready to help us with everything we needed. Me, my wife and my friends really enjoyed our trip in Kauaii and one of the main reasons was this house.
Donna and Art made us feel so welcome in there beautiful beachside home. The home was very comfortable for my husband, son (1 y.o) with plenty of space. Beds we're really comfy. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck overlooking the mountains, used the BBQ here for dinner one night which was great. The house is just a quick drive to shops too, or you could get the bus which they left instructions on how to. The house had a great Hawaiian vibe to its interior. The neighbourhood was nice n quiet, close to beaches you could snorkel, saw some turtles :) also across the road from a wave for the surfers. Very happy with this accommodation over all and would love to stay again! It was lovely :)
This place is one of the most beautiful places we've ever seen! The location of the house is just amazing. Just a few walking minutes away is the beautiful Hideaway beach, a perfect place to watch the sunset. Enjoy the awesome view from the lanai, it's just stunning. The house owners provided us with lots of useful information about the house and the surrounding. We appreciated that very much.
The house was very clean, spacious and nicely furnished. We hightly recommend to stay at Donnas' and Arts' house, it will be an unforgettable stay.
The description of the Chase's home was exactly as described. It's a very beautiful and inviting place to spend a few days. The Chase's have done a very good job assembling a binder which contains a multitude of activities for people new to the island to consider.
We were concerned initially about being comfortable at night but those concerns were unfounded. The fans alone kept the bedrooms comfortable after sunset. We would definitely return if Princeville is in our travel plans next year.
This place is AWESOME! We are already in the process of planning our return trip, and we just got back home today.
The house was FULLY equipped with everything you can imagine, and the ocean is out the front door and the rain forest is in the back. You can easily get lost in the moment just sitting in the living room bird watching at all the native wildlife. The perfect viewing area for the sunset is right outside the front door, where you can also watch surfers use every ounce of sunlight possible.
The location of the place was definitely on our favorite side of the island, definitely closest to the best beaches, and so many hikes right around the corner. When we arrived there was a lovely welcome book that was stuffed with information on what to do, including menus of local restaurants.
We definitely made use of it being stocked with the boogie boards and the ice chest for the beach.
We will most certainly be returning, and if you need somewhere to stay for your getaway this is a fantastic place to refuel!
