My flat is located in the heart of beautiful Sofia, perfect starting point for sightseeing around the city. You can reach the best Sofia tourists attractions (Church of St. Sophia, Roman Rotunda, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, Russian Church, Sofia Synagogue, Ivan Vazov National Theatre, National Palace of Culture, etc.) on foot in ten minutes and enjoying a wonderful walk in the historic center which is full of Bulgarian restaurants where you can have a traditional meal.
My place is located near Mall of Sofia and Vitoshka Street which is one of the most fashionable shopping streets with cafes and restaurants and closed off to vehicles and full of people walking the street and my favorite place to hang out and people watch and highly recommend it. My neighborhood is in the center of downtown Sofia and everything is in walking distance.

Very fast internet and if you have computer problems I run an online travel company and someone from my office can assist with any computer problem you may have. There is a desk if you need to work or there is space at my office if you prefer an office environment to work out of which is on a top floor building and has a great view of Sofia and Vitosha our mountain.
I have a very sweet old lady that can come clean and cook daily for 4 Euro per hour.
No car needed for those who stay here, you can get anywhere by foot or public transport. I have an expensive bicycle with chain and lock that can be included for an additional 10 Euro per day and i can have additional bikes included from my friend who owns a bike shop. There are some free Sofia biking tours that I can recommend. I have a friend that is a part time tour guide that can show you around Sofia during the day and can take you to some of the best and exclusive clubs in Sofia.
I have a black SUV that can be rented with or without a driver at a very affordable price.
Very confortable apartment and very good location: about 5 minutes walking to the vitosha blvd. You'll find everything that you need: from a radio in the living room to salt in the kitchen.
John is very helpful. The cleaning lady was still wating for our arrival, altough our flight was delayed.
There's not much to say except it was a great place and location for a great price. The cleaning lady was helpful and seem very kind. Easy to contact the host and quick response. I know when I come back I will definitely be staying here again.
It's a great place to stay - good location, very clean, warm and with its own vibe. We had to check in much earlier and we appreciate how the host quickly arranged for the cleaning lady to arrive early in the morning. Would definitely visit again.
I've booked this great apartment for my guest fellow artist and they loved it. They spent 8 nights there. The old lady that cares about the key is very kind-just call her Karamfilka :)
Thank you very much for the hospitality.
The apartment was great! It has everything one would need, clean, and comfortable. The location is great, close to the center and very convenient. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sofia. Overall a great experience.
Cool flat, the interiour is very appealing, I would say the value for the money is very good, because the flat is very centraly located in Sofia.
Only the tram is a bit noisy and with the adress "Makedonia" is the street not the square ment.
Great apartment, great location in the city, kitchen fully equipped, bed very comfortable, filtered water on tap, great old-school lift to take you up to the 4th floor. The noise from the trams didn't bother me at all.
Yoana (John's colleague) was very helpful and friendly, as was the housekeeper who had no problem communicating everything that needed to be communciated even though she spoke no English and I spoke no Bulgarian. Respect.
All in all, highly recommended.
Our stay in Johns Apartment was perfect! It's very central - you can reach the most things by foot, it's well equipped and everything is clean - and last (but not least), Johns assistant Yoana and his charwoman Caramfilka take care of you and will help you with every concern - very nice an pleasant!
I can totally recommend it :)
John's place was great- a very comfortable apt in a convenient location. He wasn't in town while I was there, but his assistant was extremely helpful and even invited me to their office for a spectacular view of Sofia from the roof top- I highly recommend it!
His cleaning lady met me at the the apt with the key and for check out- she doesn't speak any English but was very sweet and helpful nonetheless. And she can call his assistant for translation if needed.
Overall, it was a great experience, and if I ever find myself in Sofia again I would definitely stay here.
Thank you Melissa! Glad you enjoyed your stay and thanks for taking the time to visit my office and check out the view of Sofia! I love Sofia and the view from my office and love sharing it. My assistant and cleaning lady enjoyed meeting you. Hopefully next time we will meet either in Sofia or around SFO.
everything was fine, house large clean and comfortable, close to the center... only problems are street a bit noisy during the night and the fact that who did give me the key and explain all was a bulgarian lady not english speaking, luckily i had a friend with me that could menage.. thanks a lot john.
