I stayed at Janice and David's for 2 nights and loved it there! Great location, comfortable room, super nice apartment with a spacious kitchen and bathroom, everything was super clean and most of all just lovely hosts! Highly recommendable!
Very nice place, very close to the shore. Had a lovely stay! Thanks again, David.
Our experience staying at David's house was more than what we hoped for, our host are friendly, they were very helpful with whatever we need from recommendation of places to go to or places to eat. it was lovely meeting them. They have a beautiful home and very clean, which is something that I'm always concern with in my travel. the furnishing of the home is done with taste and the kitchen are free to use. Our room was very big and cozy. We would definitely recommend David's place! and the pictures doesn't lie.
David and Janice were the perfect hosts for our stay in Edinburg! The flat was really really nice, and I would say even better than it looks on the pictures. Our room was very large and comfortable and it was on the top floor which gave it some extra privacy. David gave us some great tips on how to get around and what to see, and he even offered to call us a cab to pick us up from the train station. The area is really lovely with some great cafes and I had some of the best seafood in a local restaurant just 5 min away from the house. All in all it was a lovely experience and I would recommend this place to anyone, as its so close to the city centre and the hosts are very welcoming and make you feel at home instantly!
I chose Leith as a place to stay in Edinburgh because I was always curious about this part of town. It is certainly very lively while retaining the flavor of its working class roots. My hosts and their household kept a beautiful art-filled home with many international guests coming and going, fixing meals and using the sitting rooms to gather and visit. The room that my son and I shared was roomy, private and quiet never-the-less. Very easy to hop on a bus to the center of the city and make connections with any other locations. Since everyone was pretty busy, we didn't get to spend that much time with our hosts but whenever our paths crossed they were simply delightful, friendly and generous with their home. Really fun place!
