It is an ideal space for those looking for rest, quiet, peace and easy access to many amenities in Sligo and Mayo in the North West of Ireland. It is located half way between Ballisadare in Sligo and Ballina in Mayo on the slopes of the Ox Montains with stunning views of Queen Maebh’s mountain - Knocknarea and Ben Bulben.

You are very welcome to the cabin and it's surrounding and there are no house rules except please respect this space. I am honoured to share this place with many other - than human "inhabitants" who have taught me much about sharing the space and recognising our mutual dependence. Please therefore enjoy this place and inhabit it with loving kindness and respect. Thank you.
Beautiful cabin and wonderful host! It was a bit tricky to find as it's out in the countryside, but when we took a wrong turn, Therese came out to find us and guide us back to the house. She was very warm and welcoming, made us feel right at home and gave us great advice on what to see around Sligo. The cabin itself was lovely, warm and cozy, with an unbeatable view of Knocknarea and the surrounding countryside. Thank you, Therese!
Cosy cabin in lovely garden in a gorgeous country setting - complete with cows just over the fence. It was so relaxing and the quintessential Irish experience. 15 min drive from Ballysadare, which has a great supermarket (Super U). Also atmospheric Beach Bar nearby with friendly locals. Therese was so welcoming and friendly.
Therese's cozy cabin was idyllic. It's a perfect addition to her beautiful home and garden and Therese made us feel very welcome there from the beginning - even when we arrived later than planned and she had an early start the next day. Therese is very warm, hospitable, and easy going. We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay with her and would recommend her to any other traveller on the AirBnB scene. .
We didn't stay long in her cabin but we really enjoyed our time there. It's calm and cosy. We were warmly welcomed. It was easy to get some help even after we leave the country.
I love my home and love to share this wild, natural space with others. Hence this cabin.
I have lived in Latin America and Spain and love to travel, live simply and keep things to a minimum. I enjoy the outdoors, fun, meeting people, dancing and gardening.
I look forward to welcoming you to Sligo, a land of poets, beauty, myth and lovely people.
